  1. Yeah, a fun run should take less than 30 minutes with these rules. I gave you all a REALLY OP team to play with.
  2. 1st the_wizard_666 25 (20-0, 5-0) 1st Krunch 25 (16-0, 9-0) 3rd Dr. Morbis 23 (16-0, 9-2) 4th NESfiend 22 (18-0, 5-1) 5th PII 12 (10-0, 3-1)
  3. It is time for FOOTBALL! REAL FOOTBALL, played with feet with a round ball, unlike a certain other poorly named sports that doesn't involve a ball nor is played with feet. It is time for TECMO CUP SOCCER! A sort of RPG football game based on the long lived anime Captain Tsubasa, but localised to the USA! The rules for this week are as follow: Use the password provided in the screenshot below Beat Germany and Brazil Post the pictures of the score differential for the two games The one with the highest goal differential between both games takes the win You have very little time to take your picture after the whistle blow. I suggest that you take the picture at the last minute of the game, or if you posses the ball, press the action button to "pause" the game and take your picture. Participation: Beat Germany and Brazil (should be entirely too easy with the password provided) Genre: Sports Password: The contest ends Sunday, 06/05/22 at 11 pm EST. Your user name should be written or typed on a piece of paper and be in the picture for your score to be valid. For speed runs that require video, that is not required. The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid. No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted. No screenshots by hitting "print screen" on a computer will be allowed. You must take a picture of your computer monitor. There may be instances where this will be acceptable, but it will be at the discretion of myself and the contest organizers. Also, the use of turbo controllers is forbidden, as well as any cheat codes, Game Genies, slow motion functions, or save states if playing on an emulator. Also, we will only be using NTSC systems for the contests. The use of PAL systems will NOT be allowed. Good luck everyone and have fun.
  4. Yes, it is. You can stop earlier without losing your lives if you so desire.
  5. Geral and genre scoreboards updated. The fight for 1st place is very tight between @Dr. Morbis and @PII

  7. Beep! Beep! Players, get ready to speed up, get some bird seed and avoid a lunatic coyote bearing ACME equipment at Road Runner! The rules for this week are very simple: Play till you lose your first life or till you reach the end of stage 21 If you reach the end of stage 21, pause the game and take your picture before finishing the stage If you roll you score, take a picture before roll over and after roll over Highest score wins Participation: 5,000 Genre: Arcade The contest ends Sunday, 05/29/22 at 11 pm EST. Your user name should be written or typed on a piece of paper and be in the picture for your score to be valid. For speed runs that require video, that is not required. 8. This. 31 is way more than I intended. We're old, we don't have as much free time. TMNT2 runs already took way too much time and I have no intention to let such thing happen again this season. Shorter runs are better for the competition, specially considering the players that take part in it.
  9. Made it progress + lowest score, but I am limiting to one reaching the 31st stage. I don't want this to drag forever for one to do a run.
  10. The idea was to allow point pressing within a set stage limit. But if people aren't finding that fun, we can do one of these things: Progress + lowest score (not a fan of this), stopping at stage 21 No point pressing rule (hardly enforceable and definitely not fun at all) Remove the stage limit. Progress (with loop) wins with lowest score used for tie breaks Make it to stage 11 as fast as you can. Lowest time with highest score wins. Video proof will be needed. Let me know which you prefer and we will go with it.
  11. It is a high score, not a progress + score. So you can grind enemy kills to pad your score if you so desire.
  12. I will count your score due to the low amount of scores posted.

  14. Ladies and gentleman, welcome for a week full of fast paced arcade action! It is time for us all to tackle on an absolute CLASSIC! Lode Runner! The rules for this week are as follow: Play 1 player mode Play till the round start screen says "LEFT 1" Take your picture at the start of the stage, when it says "LEFT 1". You don't have a lot of time to do it, so be quick. If you reach stage 30, take your picture at the start of stage 31 Highest progress with lowest score wins. Participation: 600 points The game only awards you points when you beat a stage, so you will need to reach at least stage 2 to get a valid score Genre: Action The contest ends Sunday, 05/22/22 at 11 pm EST. Your user name should be written or typed on a piece of paper and be in the picture for your score to be valid. For speed runs that require video, that is not required. 15. Yeah, the plan is to have a speed run of the last stage only. I will consider that for TMNT 3 too in the future, to allow for shorter run times, allowing for more runs and practise to take place. It will be more fun for everyone involved.
