  1. When no settings are mentioned, it means that you must use the default settings. And the default settings here are 4 minutes, normal speed.
  2. This game is quite decent for a Basketball sim on the NES. But I guess I will have to accept scores where the player lost to the CPU because we have a really paltry participation this week.
  3. http://www.digitpress.com/library/manuals/nes/Tecmo NBA Basketball.pdf Page 19. Within the Season menu, select schedule, press A and pick reset.

  5. Ladies and Gentleman, PLAY BALL! This week our skilled players shall prove how good they are at BASKETBALL through their mastery of TECMO BASKETBALL! The rules for this week are pretty simple: Play regular season Pick any team of your preference at the team control screen. You can only pick one team to control Play the 1st match of the regular season Take your picture at the NBA Sports Wrap Up screen Highest positive score differential wins For tie break, 3 point score percentage will be used Highest score wins Genre: Sports The contest ends Sunday, 04/24/22 at 11 pm EST. Your user name should be written or typed on a piece of paper and be in the picture for your score to be valid. For speed runs that require video, that is not required. The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid. No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted. No screenshots by hitting "print screen" on a computer will be allowed. You must take a picture of your computer monitor. There may be instances where this will be acceptable, but it will be at the discretion of myself and the contest organizers. Also, the use of turbo controllers is forbidden, as well as any cheat codes, Game Genies, slow motion functions, or save states if playing on an emulator. Also, we will only be using NTSC systems for the contests. The use of PAL systems will NOT be allowed. Good luck everyone and have fun.
  6. The goal is to get as close to 8,388,600 without tying or going over it.
  7. You can post photos as it is counting up. Since hitting the kill screen is sounding too feasible to do, I decided to spice things up regarding it.
  8. You can't reach the kill screen. You must hit as close to it as you can without triggering it and stopping there.
  9. Final standings posted. Sorry for the delay.
  10. I am having to set up a lot of stuff for a very important work meeting tomorrow. Scores will be update tonight or tomorrow after said meeting, when I will finally have some free time for myself.
  11. Today has been extremely hectic here, so I could only post the Pipe Dream thread now. I will tally the final scores for Parodis and Kung Fu tomorrow first thing in the morning. Sorry for that.

  14. I am quite rusty because I haven't been playing NES this year at all, but I think I can quickly get my Makaimura form back if I put some practising time in. Could be fun, if I can find the time.
