The rules for this week are: Pick mode A Pick level 1 and speed 1 Play till game over You cannot reach the game kill screen at the score of 8,388,600. You must stop playing before reaching that score. Highest score wins Genre: Puzzle The contest ends Sunday, 04/17/22 at 11 pm EST. Your user name should be written or typed on a piece of paper and be in the picture for your score to be valid. For speed runs that require video, that is not required. The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid. No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted. No screenshots by hitting "print screen" on a computer will be allowed. You must take a picture of your computer monitor. There may be instances where this will be acceptable, but it will be at the discretion of myself and the contest organizers. I am quite rusty because I haven't been playing NES this year at all, but I think I can quickly get my Makaimura form back if I put some practising time in. Could be fun, if I can find the time.

Silver Surfer will require some further testing on my part before I define the final rule sets for it, since it is months away, but once I have it decided, I will let you know. 1 life only is a must there, though.

I was considering "Record 20 minutes of play time and your score will be what you had at the end of those 20 minutes" but this will be used for a famous puzzle game who is busted for scoring in the future.

It is much harder for me to tally the results when people post several scores all scattered around the thread.

Keep all the bloody scores in your first score post. Otherwise I can end up tallying it all wrong when I am doing the scoreboard.

All the speed run ones will be like this, so yeah, there will be more weeks this year were videos will be required and it will be nifty to see how people around here play.

Imagine being such a sad, weak, frail ego person to decide willingly to not play the amazing shmup that Parodious is because it is on Famicom. That game is AMAZING!
