I saw people fixing their 8bitdo sn30's d pad issues with that method, I'm sure it would work on others with similar trouble though

I was confused by the comment so it wasn't me, what is this punch out fix thing for various pads including the 8bitdo stuff?  I'm very curious to see what this fixes.

This is months before someone evolved it to the binder things but gives a good idea, then it became

Whoa...genius, the sticky donuts of all the stupid cheap fixes.  I rate that right there with my electrical cap trickery to make the original Supaboy not suck for the same issue.  Pennies to the dollar fix to make something garbage, great.  I remember the 8bitdo doing that garbage some, thought it was in my head as the little I did use the lame thing wasn't on old virtual console stuff so a bit less obvious.

Is that still an issue with 8bitdo SNES controllers? I bought mine a year ago maybe and never had an issue with the Dpad. Played just as good as original to me
