guitarzombie | 929 Posted March 5, 2021 Share Posted March 5, 2021 I once repaired a game where the PRG chip was bad. So I put in an EPROM but still kept the original but dead chip. I think for something like this, someone might not mind since the price would have to have been dropped because it was essentially broken. a_profile_name | 230 Posted March 6, 2021 Share Posted March 6, 2021 I'm surprised battery swaps are considered even a tiny bit controversial.
