Gamecube had some absolute bangers for rpgs on the system. Ttys, tales of symphonia, skies of arkadia legends to name a few.

Ps2 just has an overwhelming amount of quality titles to sift through. More than I'll ever play in my lifetime. While GC may hold the title of having my favorite rpg of all time on it(Tales of Symphonia), PS2 just has the numbers.
