phart010 | 1,790
Anyone remember seeing these initials “N&B” in the last stage of Mario zone. I’ve always wondered what this stands for
DarkTone | 1,015
They were toy blocks made by Nintendo, to compete with lego. Just a little nod.
TDIRunner | 2,912
When that game was new, I thought the levels in that world were some of the coolest level designs I had ever seen.

If there's ever a game that needed a remaster, it's this one. What a leap over it's predecessor and really made me feel like the Gameboy could compete with home console gaming.

The graphical difference between Land 1 and 2 almost looks like a leap between generations.

Br81zad | 630
The jumping was a little "floaty" for my taste, but the game was incredible at the time. I loved the block levels and it was neat to see the slight iso perspective used in a gameboy platformer. The Whale level was really neat as well

I had no clue about that and to me it kind of explains why it took so long for there to be a licensed Nintendo LEGO set, even though there were other Nintendo block builder toys. Well, I'm glad the two buried the hatchet (or Nintendo simply swallowed their pride) and we will now see more Nintendo LEGO toys.
