Help Identifying A Movie By A Snippet of Memory

Sorry, I can’t help with your movies but I’ve battled something similar since childhood. I remember watching a cartoon movie on HBO in the 80’s, about some animals that go on a journey. 30 years later and I still can’t figure out what it was, but am holding out hope that the VHS (with a very rough recording of this) is still in the attic of my parents house.

"Some animals that go on a journey" is the plot of 99% of cartoon movies.

Honestly, not really anything else. Pretty sure it was like a special and not a theater release.
