Is this SNES seal legit?

Hey all, just got this game in recently and wanted to see if the more knowledgeable folk here could help me with this SNES game. Neither flap has been opened (no white crease from the flaps being bent back). I can't find any other comps of Nikelodeon Guts anywhere. https://imgur.com/a/WiuRfch

Here's the only one Wata graded. It's v-seam. Even if third party would probably still have an h overlap... but the vent holes are interesting

Yeah I don't think I've seen a seal exactly like this before. I know for a fact the box hasn't been opened but still unsure about the seal. The seller had multiple other sealed SNES games listed and they were all legit so there's that at least..

Both of my Factory sealed copies had V-seams.

That came from a member here and I want to say he submitted a few unused games sealed like this when WATA first started and they graded them as sealed with a 3rd party seal, but I don't know how they do that nowadays.

Looks suspect to me, don't like that vent hole. Maybe a distro re-seal as others here have suggested.

Yes some have overlap seams such as third party reprints from Majesco but majority are V-Seam. This one should have a V-Seam to be authentic. This is probably a store reseal.

Store reseals wouldn't have that perfectly formed hole though. From my experience, those are usually an irregular oval shape.

I have no specifics to base it on but this looks original to my eyes.

I’d be willing to be it’s one of these, like I said the box is in perfect condition and it hasn’t ever been opened

I'm in this camp too. I've had stuff like this come my way in the past that I've cracked open and found maybe some sign of the contents being HANDLED but not really used. Maybe damaged wrap stuff that distros resealed? Not sure on how/why this happened, wonder if anyone else here can shed some light.

Whether a seal is legit or not all depends on who owns the game. Only the big players are allowed to have legit seals and profit.
