I didn't mention it previously, but I'm in Georgia, so a pickup is actually a real possibility.

I Am Setsuna a few weeks ago. Masterpiece.
I've been eyeing this since release but there are just so many quality games these days I haven't even bought it.

I love this thread. But more importantly, do you stand or sit to wipe after making a poo?

I think it's gotta be Chrono Trigger. The graphics, the music, the mechanics, and even the simplistic story woven with interesting characters. It's as close to perfect as any videogame has ever been. It's a truly special game.
Some other beloved games for me (in no particular order):
Spoiler- FF6
- FF7
- Castlevania: SotN
- Super Mario Bros 3
- Rocket League
- Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
- Secret of Mana
- GTA: Vice City
- Metroid Prime
- Breath of the Wild
- Celeste
Damn, there are a lot of good videogames.

Shinobi on 3DS has a HUGE difficulty spike on the last boss. The rest of the game is ok, not very hard at all but the last boss ... I didn’t have the patience to beat him.
They must have been inspired by the PS2 game because it also had a huge difficulty spike for the final boss. Although I found the rest of the game challenging as well.

Disagree, played through it twice found the gameplay to be fun both times and the dry humor funny both times. To each his own!
Wait... Different people can like different things?
VGS already best community in history of internet.

A Link to the Past is number one for me, but Breath of the Wild is a very close second.

If I like the game, I'll probably beat it, unless it gets really hard by the end.
But the only game that I remember this happening was Shinobi on 3DS.If a game doesn't click or I don't like it, the chances of beating it get very low.
I was looking forward to Astral Chain but it just didn't click with me and so I went to play something else and I don't know when I'll get back to it.I never knew that Shinobi on 3DS was really difficult, but I very specifically remember banging my head against the wall trying to beat Shinobi on PS2. It was quite good, but definitely rage-inducing. But I'm a masochist so I eventually beat it.

Speaking of which, does anyone use, or know of, a good collection tracker? I am also using GVN as my collection tracker, their prices always seemed a little off compared to actual ebay sales.
I use the My Game Collection Premium app on Android. It's not the best at everything, but the custom labeling and sorting is really powerful.

I enjoyed it, but felt the few novel gameplay ideas wore thin over the total play time. I would recommend it at $10 or less.

Finished Axiom Verge, now playing Link awakening for the first time and having fun with it !
What did you think? As a big fan of Metroidvanias, I found myself disappointed. Something about it just didn't jive for me. I realize that places me in the minority opinion for this game, but I don't ever want to play it again.

Rocket League, Rocket League, and Rocket League?
Can't wait to start Outer Worlds this weekend though! Never played an Obsidian game and this should be amazing on Xbox One X.

Sad to see that NA may disappear into thin air after 13 years of hard work and niche information you can't find anywhere else. I joined the party somewhat late in early 2014 but these past 5 years have been great. I hope to bring over my OCD Collectors guide soon and continue to make improvements to it.
Glad you made it over. Your expertise is much needed. I also need a partner in crime to help me ruin every sealed game in existence.

Just watched I Am Mother on Netflix. Really solid low budget sci-fi. If you liked Moon and Ex Machina, you'll enjoy it. It does a great job of keeping you guessing, even against your own better judgement. And the ending leaves things open in an interesting way without an obnoxious cliffhanger.

Ahhh, the Collection Thread. Or as I like to call it, The "See honey, I don't have nearly as much as this guy" Thread. Saving marriages since 2019.

As a CIB collector, the box is the single most important piece of the puzzle. It doesn't have to be pristine, but if it's all beat up, I'm not interested. Generally, I'd rather skip a bad box than have to upgrade later.

No specific gaming drink, I'm a big fan of straight ice water in the evenings. During the day I'm all about the Monster Ultra and Diet Mountain Dew. No, I'm not a dudebro and yes, I am ashamed that I drink these things.

Sounds like a lot of fun! You may get a few extra participants if you line it up with the release of the Analogue Pocket.

Celeste!!! Best game of 2018! And Switch performance is fantastic. Perfect for bite sized gaming or long stretches.

That's all I did.
It looks greatas is, but would be awesome if you could make the title/group of the user appear on mobile as well. Obviously a low priority request. Fantastic job on the site so far! Loving it.

Mobile = second class citizens!
I can look into it if it's an issue, there are definitely ways to make it work everywhere, I'll just have to dig into the code a bit.
I'm on mobile as well and I can see the nice purple shaded outline, but no other indicators.

I'd be interested in purchasing a reasonable sized lot of the CIB NES games. My list hasn't made it over to this site yet, but you can find it here: http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=56&threadid=188575&StartRow=26#bottom
Or I can just go through your collection list and give you a general idea of how many I'm interested in. Whatever works best for you.
