  1. Regarding the Value Pak stuff, awhile back I added a tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet to list the games known to have been available with a Value Pak sticker.  It looks like I never actually filled in that tab through. I'm all for logging it and tracking it, and the spreadsheet is a good reference, though I'd prefer not on the main tab.

  2. I remember the cache of these that were on Amazon as I bought a few myself (all sold and gone now). I think they were sold direct from Innovation, or at least a company that was only selling NOS of their products.

I don't know if any more will surface, but I also don't know how much demand there are for the controllers. I think I and others got excited when there was that Amazon bunch because of coverage like you showed from gamesniped ("Oooh rare"), so on the other side it could seem like not much demand/interest only because they aren't talked about.

  3. I think that Sonic Spinball variant is probable, given the repeated inserts across the copies galacticlint has identified.

I do have 2-3 other entries kind of like it in the spreadsheet. I can't think of them off the top of my head, but games where there is both a color manual and a b/w manual, with no other noticeable differences on the outside.

And that Sonic card thing is with one of the Sonic 3 Mega Hits releases that has the Check It Out insert.

    I'm inclined to add it

Edit: the Sonic card is one I don't know much about other than seeing it with some Sonic 3 MH copies. Anyone with more info/observations?

  4. Yes those were packed with Bubsy, which also had a Bubsy postcard.

Those same cards came in more than one Accolade hard top game.  But, I don't know if the order of the cards was ever different (ie Bubsy on top for Bubsy, Warpspeed on top for Warpspeed, etc).  My guess is they were only packaged one way, but my copy of Bubsy I think was the only one where I had the cards actually sealed

  5. Great to see the extra info on the cards packed in with RBI Baseball 93.  I had a copy ages ago and I felt confident that the cards I had were accurate, but it struck me as odd that they seemed a few years old for the game, but I never looked much more into it.

I don't know if its currently in my spreadsheet, but I also tracked down the packs of cards that were used for NBA Jam's first release.

And for Doom Troopers, any card from the Inquisition series will do.

Some of that info was shared on SegaAge but not formally captured in the spreadsheet.  I'll have to go back and add notes for those items, along the lines of "You can purchase xyz to complete this title"

  6. Hey guys! In the middle of a move right now, but quickly weighing in on the PGA Golf sticker questions.

Sticker orientation should not count as a variant.

And so that red sticker appears to be on two different releases, right? Its mostly on the version that doesn't have the "1st Round" badge.  But there is one low-res pic of it on a 1st Round release?

And this sticker is on beat up CIB copies and is on the clamshell case itself.  That easily lends itself to some case swapping.  Though I mean, I guess it's unlikely that someone would swap cases between two copies of PGA Golf II, but it's possible. Shrug.

Any spottings of the sticker on a sealed copy (under the wrap)?

I'll try and do my own searching in the next couple days and see if I have anything additional to weigh in to help us figure out what should go in the spreadsheet.

  7. Great work, DefaultGen!

The Sonic games can be a real chore! The first game easily has more than a dozen variants! I original began with the big, noticeable variants, Sega Classic, K-A ESRB, but over time started to add as much detail as I could, as the game was made in Japan, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, USA. And now at this point in the project the list is ready for the minute.

With the Sonic games it might make sense for me to add a new column to put in all of the address text or note other details currently not well captured.

I've recently given billybob edit access, so with two of us working, we should be able to keep this up to date better! And also strategize as a forum on how to capture all of the small details of variants!

  8. Everything added!

Thanks for the two additional Monopoly variants (mexico clamshell and fliptop).

I don't know if many people scroll right on the spreadsheet but in columns N, O, and P I hope to mark the "origin" of the box, manual, and cart for each variant.  Not too critical on these Monopoly releases, but in checking this stuff, sometimes thats where I'll realize that a certain release used Acclaim carts with a black sticker over the back of the cart, things like that.

  9. SOLD

    ---

I've got a Krikzz Mega Everdrive for sale. I believe this is one of the ones sold directly from Krikzz, whereas now they appear to only be sold via 3rd parties.

I'm not fully sure of which version it is, but when I boot it up without the SD card (picture 5), you can see it is a 2014 release, Mega-ED-v2, with bootloader v3.00. As you can see from picture 6 (with the SD card inserted) that everything is working just fine. Pictures below:

Not sure what these go for anymore, but send me a message if you're interested. For now, I'd prefer to just ship within the US and Canada.

Just found out that a lot of the info from SegaAge moved over here.  Very happy to see this info wasn't lost and this project has continued.  It was sad to see SegaAge go away :classic_sad: Hope everyone is doing alright and staying safe.

Glad to see you made it over! I'm not actively researching Genesis contents these days, but I try to make sure to update the spreadsheet with any feedback I receive here

  11. Bump.  I have sold Zelda, Professor Layton, and Pokemon X (which was a US version).

I still have Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. It is currently listed on eBay, but glad to work something out here too.  Send me a message if you're interested

  12. I'm auctioning off my final batch of CIB Genesis games.  Pretty much everything here is 100% CIB and are in fantastic condition. I've photographed any spots of wear.  There's some truly hard to find stuff here:

    - Super Fighter Team original clamshell releases (Beggar Prince, Legend of Wukong, and Star Odyssey)
    - I have both clamshell releases of Beggar Prince (original art and new cover art)
    - Pier Solar USA Classic Edition (still sealed and with original shipping envelope from China)
    - Super Fighter Team cardboard releases (Magic Girl and Cascade) - SFT no longer sells physical copies of their games
    - John Madden Football Championship Edition (harder to find Mail Order release)
    - Battletoads cardboard
    - High Seas Havoc
    - Double Dragon V with tattoo and poster
    - Doom Troopers with limited game card and poster
    - Fighting Masters with Collectors Cards
    - Raiden Trad new cover art release
    - MUSHA with Seismic reg card
    - Kaneko Air Buster Glove
    - Comix Zone with promo CD
    - Comix Zone promotional notepad (super rare)
    - Sonic 2 Cardboard
    - Punisher with tattoo and capcom reg card
