    .

Bump for some sweet looking items. Best of luck finding what you're looking for
  2. Thanks! That's one I was on the lookout for a while- such a fun and pretty to look at game.
  3. Not quite enough for the 100, but I'll take the 50+ imports please.
  4. Video Game tat- got this when my son was born in 2011
  5. I like the format of the new forum, as well as the ability to react to people's comments. I'd be lying though if I said I didn't miss the badges.
  6. Thanks for looking into it and I appreciate all the responses- looks like I'm going to have to sort this out with the seller.
  7. Yeah, I'd totally try on another console if I had a backup, but sadly I don't... I use an Action Replay for Saturn and I love it. But yeah- I've tried loading it from power off, loading it after powered on from menu, I tried spinning the disc before closing the tray to kinda 'kickstart' it, nothing has worked yet.
  8. Hey I appreciate it... this is outside of my area of expertise.
  9. I got it on etsy- here's a link to the item. It lists the games included and the emulators used. https://www.etsy.com/listing/736774322/mame-emulator-custom-sega-dreamcast-game?ref=yr_purchases
  10. No, I don't have a disc burner currently. I don't think it's a lens issue since it loads everything else just fine. The NES emulator disc i got came with a boot disc and a ROM disc, but I have never been able to get those to work either, like I said I just assumed the disc was bad, but this experience makes me question that.
  11. Right, like I said I looked it up and mine is one of the ones that SHOULD play them, but for some reason... yeah- idk
  12. I collect, so I don't normally mess with anything emulation based. However- I recently purchased a MAME disc for the Dreamcast that includes about 30 arcade games or so. When I received it, it wouldnt boot- the system goes to the home menu and if I choose the game option, it fusses at me to insert a disc. Now, when I got my DC, it came with a NES roms disc- it never worked, which was whatever because again, I don't really emulate. I assumed it was an issue with the disc or something and that was that. But now I'm wondering if it's something with my console, since the new disc wont work either. The seller said the game works with no boot disc or modding required, I believe that he tested the disc and it does, in fact work fine- just not on my console for some reason. In searching online, I found that models made after October 2000 won't play burnt discs without a boot disc or mod. I checked my system and it seems to be one of the earlier models (has the '1' in the circle on the information label) but still won't play the disc.... I figured I would ask here to see if anyone has some insight. What am I doing wrong?
  13. Lol no worries at all- I had this same convo with a guy on FB when he asked me why I included links awakening remake and not any other remakes/ports. Answer was, idk- it was nearby I guess because it's more of a remake remake, rather than a more simple port like a lot of the other ones (some with a few new bells and whistles sure, like color dungeon in LADX) which would spread out to the bonus discs and NES hits gba carts. As for the Wii version of TP, it's the same game, so I consider both versions interchangeable to a degree. However, I was going on Nintendo Age's collection badge list, where the same philosophy was usually applied. I dont have a local copy of the doc, but I dont think Links awakening DX was included on it. Now as mentioned before if I was going for every version and every variant, I'd totally be on the other side of the fence. But think of it as like the core or base set where every instalment is represented.
  14. Oh I'm sure that those 'holy crap!' Moments pack a bit more punch after all that looking around for that specific variation that would go unnoticed by a lesser trained eye.
  15. Idk, I've never been the type to go after multiple copies of the same game. I get the appeal, but I think the only variant i would want to have would be silver label/yellow label Metroid for NES- I only have the silver one currently.
  16. Thanks! My collection tends to be all over the place, so going this route has helped me keep a little more focused, rather than just buying whatever looks good.... but I still do that anyway
  17. After sitting on one more game remaining for a year or so, I finally snagged the last one I need (Spirit Tracks). I'd like to get the cdi games at some point just for the novelty if nothing else, but as we all know, they are not included in the core series. I'm not sure what series I'm going to move onto next- thinking maybe Kirby, Sonic or FF.
  18. At one point I got a random funny notion of Mario getting jacked. So I cropped Mario's head and looked for buff dudes on google. I found one that would work and I resized and angled Mario's head and applied a filter to it so the colors would blend better. Used it on NA for years so had to bust it out again here.
  19. Hey guys, I wanna hear some stories that might have a slight bit to do with gaming in the real world sense. Example: One of my best friends got married a few years ago and my other best friend and I were 'co-best man'. I drove in from out of state and we didn't have time to do any proper bachelor party activities. The day before the wedding I pitched that we surprise him with all 3 of us getting tattoos that we had joked about getting in high school- each of us getting a piece of the Triforce. So with that, we all went to a local tattoo parlor and got matching tattoos! The groom, having always had the best grades, got the Triforce of wisdom. My other best friend, being former military got the triforce of courage. I, myself, got the Triforce of power due to my naturally muscular build and general bad-assery (lol). Though it may sound morbid, we made a pact that upon the first passing of one of us, the other two would get the departed's piece filled in. This would continue in turn, leaving one person with the complete Triforce. This will serve not on only as a way of honoring our fallen comrades and carrying their spirit with us, but also one last 'I won' among friends.
  20. Gonna be a tough matchup with our recent history with them. Heres hoping they can keep up this momentum and maybe not cut it so close next time
  21. They foreal had me nervous a few times, I think next time they could take it- especially since how they've got something to prove.
  22. Super happy, as a 9ers fan, to have something to be excited for this season. 8-0 baby!
  23. Nice- full plate but sounds like you know where you wanna go with it. Best of luck!
  24. My family and I on a sunday. We love football day!
  25. Sad to see NA go, but out of the ashes rises a sage, and it seems we are all off to a great start here. Cheers.
