Yeah. You don't.
Like I said, terrible terrible advice.
...And frankly I'd be very surprised if your suggestion ended well no matter where you live, honestly. Doing that is only begging to escalate the situation and could very very very easily lead to someone getting hurt, or worse. That is the last thing you should do in this type of situation.
Well, he went to the police and they didn't do anything, it sounds like this guy is a ghost. Confronting him directly will prove whether or not he's actually a real stalker, he will need to answer for himself at that point.
I'm not telling anyone to do anything, I'm just saying what I would do, ill-advised or not.
-
I would confront the issue head-on, is what I mean. There's no way on Earth I'd allow someone like this to threaten myself and my family on a consistent basis for months on end.
Someone like that is getting their kicks off of making you scared or annoyed, it's a power trip. You need to cut the power out, show them they can't control you, can't scare you.
Then again, I don't live in a country where every second person is armed, and every third person is a legit psychopath, so your milage may vary.

If some dude was doing that to me I'd approach them and confront them directly. You've just been letting a guy follow you around for MONTHS? He could be a threat to you and your family, you need to confront him in a non-violent manner.
Perhaps gather a couple of trusted friends to back you up and hold up phone cameras in his face. Maybe you follow HIM around playing weird buzzing noises in his ears, follow him home, see how he likes it.

Someone has been stalking me everyday for the last few months and playing high pitched noises every where I go.
I've spoken to the police, I have called private investigators, and I have called lawyers and have not been able to get any help.
Any suggestions on what I should do?
Record the noises and then play them back in reverse and at 1/5th speed. The noises are actually a message from your future self, warning you not to listen to the advice of random shit-posters on the internet.

The 2 that come to mind would be Iggy's Reckin Balls or Forsaken 64
Yup, I'm wrecking balls over here like a dominatrix on Valentine's day!

1. Getter Love
2. Yoshi's Story
3. Shadows of the Empire
Nope, nah, and I just beat that again like late last year....
I'll give you one more guess, but it's pretty random.
I guess I'll give you a clue or two... It's published by Acclaim, it's not a sports game, it is basically the most random and weird game on the system, and if you try to play it using a regular controller you'll destroy your fingers and hands forever. Oh and the title is a fucking mess.

No I just meant in general
Wow. I mean, just wow. You think you know someone... And then... Words hurt you know...
P.s. I'll give you a million bucks if you can guess what my next game will be!
(And no it's not Majora's Mask, and you get three guesses).

Big thanks to @RH for a massively generous favor! He helped me take shipment of the Limited Run Worms Armageddon from a seller on ebay, and then paid the ENTIRE shipping fee to get it to me from the US!
Without his amazing help I probably wouldn't have had the stomach to add this game to my collection of aftermarket N64 games, so I am ever so grateful to him!
Here's a big time shout-out, everyone should know, @RH is a solid-most dude!

***SPLAIN ALERT***
@Splain is this thing on?
LEGO RACERS complete!
Gotta say, I'm really not much of a fan of this one. The races are an absolute clusterfuck of weapons and traps going off, it's basically impossible to get ahead of the pack, and the CPU rivals have an unbelievably unfair advantage, zooming ahead way faster than you can possibly catch up to them.
As far as I am aware, there is only one reliable strategy to win, which is to gather the boost power-up and collect 3 white LEGO blocks to activate the warp. If you can achieve this multiple times per race, you have a CHANCE at victory, but even then you can easily be fucked up by stage hazards and other racers fucking you over.
I wouldn't call this game unfun, but it's VERY unfair, unbalanced and ultimately very unsatisfying. 5/10 max.

I'm totally down to make this a monthly "Opt showcase" kind of thing. Any other hot takes you can offer us?
Dude, my Superman take was WELL considered, I ain't trolling up in here! My N64 opinions are gospel, I don't joke around with that!

I love how this thread has become about how awesome Superman 64 is, and how terrible all the Zelda games are!

Opty let me know when you want to start the bad game club. Next month’s game can be Bubsy 3D.
It looks pretty good to me!

You don't like Zelda 3, and you don't like Zelda 1? By process of elimination I wonder what is your opinion of Zelda 2? (my fav)
I guess out of those three, I would go for Zelda II, but even then I'm not hugely into it, mainly due to the difficulty. I'm more into the 3D Zelda games, tbh, although I did greatly enjoy Link's Awakening on GBC as a kid.
By and large I don't think my dislike of the earlier Zelda games is much to do with they themselves, it's more about my own preferences. I don't like games that have too much talking, I'm not big into RPG style top-down adventure games, I'm much more into games which emphasize action. I also don't really find exploring 2 dimensional worlds much fun, whereas I love exploring 3D worlds, so overall the earlier Zelda games just don't do much for me.

If I have time, I will try to pop it in and play it tonight (most likely the Genesis version on the Mega Sg). I always preferred Sonic 2 over 3, but 3 is still a great game.
The other question to ask is, do you play it by itself, or locked on to S&K?
I think it's valid to play through just the Sonic 3 portion if you're in the mood for a quick gaming fix. Snap on the &K for the full course treatment.
And, for the REAL degenerates among us, fire up Sonic and Knuckles solo, like the animal you are!

I will say it does greatly confuse me that you really like ALBW but strongly dislike ALttP, they are so incredibly similar that I'm not entirely sure how that's possible, haha.
Well, one of my main gripes with LttP is how stiff the movement and combat are. I always feel like I'm wrestling with the controls to do what I want, and the enemies always seem to have such a greater freedom of movement, I never feel like I'm fully achieving what I want to do. Link Between Worlds feels smooth as butter by comparison, I get so much more out of the action element of the game.

Hyrule Castle (early game)
Ganon's pyramid (of power) (endgame)
His fucking pyramid then, geez.

Good write up. I was actually expecting a 5-5.5 reading that review but was surprised to see the 4 (that’s your real score I assume and you just added the .5 to spite Reed )
I may check it out one day when I’m bored and want to experience it for myself.
You mention in your review that you’ll defend it against those who haven’t given it a go. I’d argue that you haven’t given a LttP a fair go. Getting to the start of the dark world isn’t giving it a go, that’s barely even starting the game. The game essentially starts from the dark world!
I was once like you, thinking LttP is not that great and didn’t buy the hype but once I made solid progress in the dark world, I saw how great the game is.
Play through the whole game and I’d be surprised if you honestly gave the game a 4. Some of the late dungeons are some of the toughest and well designed dungeons in a Zelda game.
I'm not sure whose critique of LttP you've read, but I've played through the game three separate times, getting as far as Ganon's castle each time (although never having beaten the game.)
I played once in my teens on the SNES, picking it up around 02, once on the 3DS virtual console, and once on the SNES mini, and I found it dreadfully boring each time. I only pushed through because I WANTED to like the game, and I wanted to finally finish it, but I could never find the umph to do so. I also don't enjoy the first Zelda game either.
I just can't get into it, as much as I've tried, sorry!
If you could only play ONE SERIES - What would you choose?

Yeah Mario makes a whole lot of sense, but this question reminds me of a thought I had while playing the Halo Master Chief Collection on XBOX ONE. That collection has Halo 1, 2, 3, 4, ODST and Reach, all on one disc. I figured if I could only play one GAME ever again, it's almost impossible to think of a single game that has more content than MCC.
So, for the sake of that I'll pick halo, because I can also add Halo 5 and infinite to that bundle as well for the complete package.
