I am gonna stick around on the original NA until it dies for good, mainly to troll, shitpost and laugh at all the goings on, as well as to guide our fellows here to the new site.
As soon as the rebooted NA launches, I'm just gonna delete the bookmark and never look back.

You know my policy on birthdays. I'm shutting this thread down at once!

I found your remote ALTQQ. But then I lost it again, sorry.

Oh Christ, who left the door open?! Now we'll never be rid of him!

Yeah, Link Between Worlds is fantastic, I substantially prefer it to LTTP in fact!

No luv for the Kirbs?
I like the Kirby games, and the N64 version is especially beautiful. However, in general I kinda find them a little too easy for me, I don't feel much of an urge to go back to them very often. I haven't totally finished my playthrough of crystal shards tho, so perhaps I should go back and take another look!

It's either LoZ: OoT or Kirby Crystal Shards for me.
OoT is up there, undoubtedly! Top 5 N64 for me (not necessarily in order): Mario 64, Goldeneye, OoT, MM, Perfect Dark.
So many close contenders tho, Banjo Kazooie, Mario Kart, Blast Corps, Diddy Kong Racing, Paper Mario, F Zero X, they could all easily be in the top 5 for me!

Hello. Favorite N64 game?
Such a tough one! It does change from time to time, but I think I gotta give it up for Goldeneye. Still a 10/10 game for me, to this day, I think if I could only ever have one game again to play for life it would have to be Goldeneye!

First and foremost I am a cart collector, primarily to play the game. Clean pins and a functional game are my absolute priority, with cart and label condition as a secondary aspect. However, I wouldn't buy a game with a totally fucked up label, or with too much rust and dirt all up in there, so it does effect my decisions to an extent. Better condition is always better, but I do have some yellowed and marginally sun faded games in my collection nonetheless.
When it comes to boxes, I'm kinda the same way. Better is better, but I am willing to put up with significant wear on boxes, as long as the overall appeal is good enough. For example, I wouldn't buy a boxed game that was totally faded or destroyed in some way across the front to ruin the box art. But, banged up edges, a little crushing here and there, some tears on the sides, not an issue for me.

I just got done with a playthrough of Ocarina of Time a couple weeks back. Still holds up, by golly that game is so sweet. My favourite part about that game are of course the dungeons, but the combat just feels so right to me too, it's amazing how fun it still is, even though it was basically their first attempt at Zelda in 3D.
Also, just gonna make it clear right now, I love Spirit Tracks too, and I will fight anyone who says otherwise!

Kinda ironic that the most depressing birthday gift I ever received has brought such joy elsewhere... I don't suppose anything else arrived for you in the mail from Taiwan...?
