for if the eprom dies of bit rot in your m82 USA version you can reprogram it using this. i dumped it awile back but it appears only the PAL one exist for the public. i did a rom comparison in a hex editor there only a few small differences. ver 1.0 (bad dump) two bytes are off on first line of code. the ntsc and pal version of the rom are identical just fyi https://www.dropbox.com/s/m4gv66gc4xkxz96/M82 NES (U).zip?dl=0

yeah but then your snes cart gets upgraded in to a neogeo cart. it will still piss off collectors either way lol

in the mid 90s nintendo went cheap arse on the label using wax coating which wears out. it wasnt till the mid 2000 they wen back to plastic coated

some one found my last thread where i had converted a m82 console from pal to ntsc and wanted theirs done too. so i did the job and converted it to ntsc. so hey if you want a cheaper ntsc version get a pal model send it to me and i can covert it to ntsc theres literally no difference between the ntsc and pal models lol. also any one with a m82 i recommend you get your power supply recapped every m82 ive seen the power supply is just about to die or has died. the caps are on their last legs and are leaking (which can damage the power supply board) or if you run yours the caps could explode which could damage the unit. id be willing to do the job for you if you want! i can recap the whole unit too increasing life and value of your machine. just pm me

yeah ive known that about ebay for years. paypal also favores the buyer last year i had some arse try to scam me for doing a service for 500 dollars claiming he didnt receive the whole order with a police report. i had to file my own police report and out of sheer dumb luck won the case. it only took 4 months of fighting though... theres fees are going to force people to use friends and family then paypal will get smart and start charging fees for that too i bet.

well sure but ebay i think got rid of them so they could take the fees paypal was taking.

i almost quit ebay cause of this crap. you have to send a few cents from your bank account to verify your bank account with ebay. i ended up calling them cause the whole thing i didn't understand

A pepsi can from the mid 90s that has been sitting near a lake at 8000 ft elevation other than being faded from the sun its in outstanding condition from being in an area that getting 8 feet of snow every year. i found it in a shallow tree stump wile on a short hike and picked it up to toss it but after looking at the logo and thinking this looks pretty old i look at the expiration date which read march 31 1997 at least i think its 97, could be 87, but im pretty sure its 97. never the less for being out in the elements for 25 years it was in impressively good shape i wonder who was the arse whole that threw it out there and then no one picked it up to toss it for almost as long as ive been alive. ok maybe its not that cool but i thought it was unique to say the least lol.

its a popular console for being a flop tbh. water world is the second most expensive us released game so now its probably 200 to 300 now... nesters funky bowling iis not too bad yet.

its a pain to do but ive come up with way to speed things up a full repair take me an hour per unit give or take.
