  1. i recently bought some pal exclusives games and running them on a ntsc console with lock out disabled didn't work for it. so i still have that pal cpu and ppu and crystal oscillator from my conversion project on my pal m82 demo unit. so i bought some sockets off amazon desoldered the cpu ppu lockout chip and crystal occilator from one of the 20 nes console i have. and popped on the sockets and the pal cpu and ppu. i double socketed the lock out chip and bent pin 4 on the socket to disable the lock out chip replaced the crystal occilator and now i have a converted nes i then ordered a cheap AV to hdmi converter so i can play the pal signal on my ntsc tv. i guess i could have left the crystal oscillator in place so the signal would still be ntsc compatible but id rather do it as original as possible took me 30 minutes and it cost me 18 dollars. vs buying one on ebay for 160.
  2. i can swing it but right now im in a tight spot so i dont really want to. i might just end up fixing my tv. thank you for the input! i did look up and people point to 32 in samsung qled tv

  4. So my 20 dollars craigslist HD crt tv finally died. lasted a good 5 years so that aint bad. im debating weather i should fix it or toss it im sure it just needs a recap job. but recapping a tv is a pain in the arse lol it doesnt work with the zapper very well and i really could care less about playing duck hunt lol. so my question is what is the best modern way to go with retro gaming setup. ive heard of the framemeister but those suckers are expensive and im sure there are cheaper alternatives out there by now. i know i need a tv with low lag. anyways let me know what works best for you.

  15. let me say this in a more funny way. i prefer to see mother natures "pussy" (being the milkyway) not man kinds string bikini warping around the earth's arse censoring it.
