  1. No sniping here just countless resets till I got a score I thought was worth posting. Fk this game! Fight: 74,000 Trip: 18,260
  2. @skinnygrinny are you kidding me? That stinks and I hate to hear that. Glad you were able to get something out of your trip.
  3. I’m enjoying it; don’t get me wrong. Just not happy with what I currently have and know I can squeeze out another 30-40k. I’ll try to post something tonight to wet skinny’s appetite
  4. How about that weather...... It’s going. I’m pulling in ok scores, but nothing worth posting. Chalk this game up as yet another NES title I never gave a proper play when it came out.
  5. Cat Quest. Fun, simply action rpg. Anyone looking for a quick “on the go” type game and love RPGs; give this one a try.
  6. Yeah seeing the first few coming out with large packing boxes full of games made me feel like nothing was going to be left when I got in but the LRG folks had that store space filled! I could have gotten 5-6 more games but wanted to stay within my means. With the turnout, I’m confident we’ll get to do this again.
  7. Going to say great job to the folks on top and way to go making it so close for the final game, but then @bertsampsongoes and posts that ^.
  8. Derp! Thanks @guillavoie @skinnygrinny it’s a 32” Phillips. Got it in high school 20+ years ago! @BeaIank rules are fine to me and provide the challenge needed in a finals competition
  9. Race 1: 00:58:84 Race 2: 01:13:90 Race 3: 01:02:94 Race 4: 01:16:70 Race 5: 01:42:40 Race 6: 20:00:00 Total: 26:14:78
  10. Still working on mine. The first 3 race times are fine; it’s the 4th and 5th race I am struggling with and I refuse to submit the times I have until I get the time on the 5th race better.
  11. Thought I might share my pick ups today at the LRG pop up event.
  12. Many if not all of you Switch collectors know about Limited Run Games and their unique way of bringing digital only game titles to physical cartridges and selling them complete in box for a good price but in limited quantities. I received and email recently about an upcoming pop up even that wasn’t too far from me and it would have an assortment of games from their catalog of games. Obviously this sounded awesome and after today; I can confirm it was in fact awesome. I just want to mention this was such a great idea they had and I really hope this happens again both near me and around he country. The turn out to this event was in the hundreds and I wouldn’t be surprised if it reached upwards of 700-800 folks. The whole LRG team was great by the way. Enough talk, here’s what I got this morning.
  13. I don’t, which is surprising considering I’ve dropped it at least 3 times. So far though I just notice smudging which easily wipes away
  14. I’ve made a few runs and while it’s a basic game, it’s so random that it makes it enjoyable. Nothing like getting 1st in a race and then on the second run through getting 18th! Seriously though; this is a fun game for how basic the gameplay is
  15. Still working on DQ 7, but just started up Cat Quest. Really enjoying it so far and is the definition of a laid back RPG.
  16. Same Tables. Only purchased the cart about 5 years ago and that was only to complete my black box set. Have never put more than 5-10 minutes into the game. you also brought up a good point and please bear with me on this. I noted during a practice run that after each race it shows the race number with your time and rank. Let’s say you finish outside of the top 3 and it’s game over. I assume we start the whole thing over but we are able to use our best times for each of the 5 races? so let’s say I finish first on the first 3 races but then 16th in the 4th race. Can I start the whole thing over and on my second run if I get 1,2, or 3rd on the 4th race...use that time? Or must we only submit entire one-run times?
  17. Curious what the world record is on a 1 loop run for this game. Over 100k??? Seems plausible after that score by Tables.
  18. Yeah so far the most frustrating part are the competitors. Clearly they are only racing to make your like miserable
  19. 17 was the most I got on the first stage. I goofed on the second and got the rest of my points on the third. Wasn’t able to repeat my run a second or third time, so I moved on. awesome scores folks!
