This week proves nothing other than we can both meet a score by a given point on an easy game.  You seem to forget that I do have a tournament win over you.  I didn't get first place, but I did make the podium.

You seem to forget we haven't had a meaningful battle yet.  The tournament was cancelled in 2015, and you quit before we could properly settle the score.

Secondly, you DO get point for fighting the boss.  Your score shows after a game over.  So I died at the final boss on purpose, reset my score, shot him and died again and did get some points.  So technically the max points you need to get is to die right before you kill the final boss.  The score does not show after you beat the game on the title screen.  There ya go. 

This is all good to know for the rules.  I'm sure our fearless leaders have it all figured out.

I was just wanting to know if there are points gained once you get to the final boss.   If not, pause for score, then beat the boss for your final picture.

IIRC the points are only shown when you pause, or at the end of a level.  If you 1CC, you need to record your points after the last level, else after you beat the boss it goes right to the ending.  Im not even sure if you get points for beating the boss.

Good to know.  Do you get points while fighting the boss?  Life bar?
