Dropped the price on Sword Master!

Dropped the price on the 8-bit Xmas game lot!
-
I bought a car through CarMax a few years back and it was probably the most pleasant car buying experience I ever had. I came in, told the sales guy what I wanted to look at, took a few out for a test drive, came back in, showed them my loan letter from the credit union, then walked to the sales office to finalize everything. Signed the paperwork, then went to the counter for a few more papers to sign, then got the keys and walked out the door. No haggling at all. The price is what you pay, and with that, you are probably paying higher than some other places, but it was worth it to me to not feel pressured and just have no stress for the whole thing. I would probably go back there again for my next car.

@Prime2099 - let me get a pic of mega man x3 - might be worth it for a label upgrade. I didn’t PM in case I pass but someone else wants a pic too
Would you also consider parting out the boxes for the 8bit Xmas games?
Here's some pics for you! Admittedly, the label isn't the best, but also not the worst!
As for the boxes, I'd like to keep everything together for now

Bumping this up to see if there is any interest from anyone. We still have one opening!

Good Morning all!
I am running a Fantasy Football league and we are looking for a few more participants. The prizes are NES carts as voted on by the members. We have two openings so if you are interested send me a message with your email and I can get you added in. Buy-in is $60. Standard scoring, non-PPR. Any questions, just let me know!

Bump!

I had really stopped buying retro games back in 2018 because I had gotten a lot of what I wanted. What I did do though was sell a lot in the last few years. I decided to scale back a bit on what I had and then saw the prices, so it made it easy to make that decision. Probably just plan on maintaining what I have and selling if I decide to, but don't plan on doing anything too different.

Hobbies in general are down. Check out comic prices, they are definitely taking a dive. I'm ok with that for the most part, especially since the prices are still higher then what I paid for them so I can still make some money off my initial purchase price!

I picked one up because why the heck not. Like @a3quit4s, mine will probably sit in the box just as the first one did!

@Prime2099 DO you have images of any of this stuff? I'm lightly interested in that Mother 3 package for GBA, wanted to see how it looked compared to other stuff you find online. Thanks
I'll DM you!

Bumping this up to let you all know we still need some people.

Hey all!
It's that time again! We have some openings in the long running VGS NES Fantasy football league. I need 4-5 people (waiting on one more to confirm if they are in or out). It is a 12 person non-PPR league. This league has been running for a good 10+ years starting in the NA forum with @Quest4Nes running it for many years. However, instead of cash payouts, we do carts as prizes! Top three finishers will get a cart as voted on by league members, so if you are interested, or have questions please let me know ASAP!!

Does anyone go for full sets anymore?
in General Collecting Discussion
Posted
Thought about doing full sets when I started collecting years ago, but decided to go for a more tailored approach and get the games I wanted as a kid and others that were highly recommended. It's been a pretty good strategy to take. I've been able to add to the lists as the years go on and I've no desire to spend loads of money on stuff I would never play.
