  1. Few days ago I added DMG-TR-FRG, and today I received directly from Canada a DMG-TR-CAN-1
  2. I bought all my Tetris between 5€ and 15€, shipping included. I'm checking eBay every few hours all day, I'm looking for the ones noy listed as Minuet because I don't want to pay more than 15€ for one
  3. Thank you very much for this detailed answer! I still haven't taken the time to take pictures of my Minuet PCBs So I'll update my first post with the new imprint numbers 07 and 28, but I never saw any of them, if someone has one, please post a picture About the Minuet song, I find it way less dynamic, IMO it just doesn't fit the gameplay... (but maybe I am biased because Tetris was one of my first video game and Korobeiniki is engraved in my brain). I thought that was the reason it was changed. Thanks for sharing
  4. From what did you deduce this list? It looks like nearly all the possible imprints of a v1.0 game (I also have "28" on some cartridge). From what I've found online those imprints correspond to the place where the game was produced but I cannot find where I've read that But since Tetris Minuet has only been released in Japan and in a "small" batch, I'm very doubtful that some where produced around the world, so it's totally believable that only few imprints exists. I hope my explanations are understandable Note: I have around 20 Japanese DMG cartridges, and those that are v1.0 (imprint without letter) are confined in the "23, 20, 09, 05" list.
  5. Lucky you! Did you find it on eBay?
  6. I found this answer: https://atariage.com/forums/topic/233532-can-someone-tell-me-what-this-is/?do=findComment&comment=3147999 Really interesting
  7. Hi! I think a section where people can ask for help if they have a problem with their system could be nice. It could also be used for people (like me) that enjoy repairing stuff regularly and want to share their work, tips, specificities of the repair, etc. This may be interesting for people that simply enjoy seing a broken system come back to life, or if they want to repair themselves a broken console
  8. Thanks for the tips! I already repaired multiple NES and I regularly repair old consoles, it's one of my hobbies. I managed to fix multiple NES with the boiling method, but the question is how long will they work?? I don't have enough hindsight to know... I've tried to pry the pins on another one, but it was very cumbersome and as you said, the game worked only when not pushed down, which I find extremely frustrating because I love the feeling of *clicking* the cart down There is some consoles that I couldn't fix and for which I could need a hand, but I learned a lot with all my reparations so I think if there was a repair section I could be of help Anyway, I mighty ask for help some day when I want to try again to fix the ones I failed, thanks
  9. Thanks to @RH I have now 3 more carts to my collection
  10. Thanks for the link, it's a satisfying thread, I'll surely follow it I was more thinking of an entire section dedicated to help others to repair stuff, where each thread is a particular repair that could be useful for the others or a call for help for a specific problem. With a more technical accent rather than only the satisfying parts of the repair
  11. I'm always looking for retro stuff to repair, and today I found those 2 poor NES... The seller said that they are both turning on (with the blinking problem). I have a lot of cleaning work to do (This forum should have a "repair" section ) I've also bought this cart, I'm not a big NES enthusiast so I have no idea if it's rare or not, but I like to have a non standard cart I'm rather happy with those finds, now I have to find some time to try and fix them!
  12. @JVOSS After making my Tetris collection topic I noticed that you are missing the "DMG-TRA-1" in this list
  13. I would love to find (for a decent price) a Game Boy Test Cartridge (Image found here)

  16. I can't explain why but I want to collect all versions of Tetris released on the Game Boy! (Maybe because my first ever console was the Game Boy with Tetris bundle? Who knows ) I'd like to have almost all the ones listed in the Somewhat Complete list of Game Boy(DMG) Tetris Variants except for those: DMG-601-CHN and -S and -O => because I'm not interested in carts with multiple games on it DMG-TR-USA-0 => because I'm just not interested in having it DMG-TR-UKV-1 => because there is no proof that it exist, and no pictures of it! So here is my goal list: DMG-TRA => Tetris (Japan) 1.0 "Minuet" DMG-TRA => Tetris (Japan) DMG-TRA-1 => Tetris (Japan) rev. 1 DMG-TR-EUR => Tetris (Europe) DMG-TR-NOE => Tetris (Europe?) DMG-TR-NOE-1 => Tetris (Europe?) rev. 1 DMG-TR-ESP => Tetris (Spain) DMG-TR-ESP-1 => Tetris (Spain) rev. 1 DMG-TR-FAH => Tetris (France, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg) DMG-TR-FRG => Tetris (Germany) DMG-TR-FRG-1 => Tetris (Germany) rev. 1 DMG-TR-ITA => Tetris (Italia) DMG-TR-SCN => Tetris (Scandinavia) DMG-TR-SCN-1 => Tetris (Scandinavia) rev. 1 DMG-TR-UKV => Tetris (UK) DMG-TR-CAN => Tetris (Canada) DMG-TR-CAN-1 => Tetris (Canada) rev. 1 DMG-TR-CAN-2 => Tetris (Canada) rev. 2 DMG-TR-USA => Tetris (USA) with centered code DMG-TR-USA => Tetris (USA) DMG-TR-USA-1 => Tetris (USA) rev. 1 DMG-TR-USA-2 => Tetris (USA) rev. 2 DMG-TR-AUS => Tetris (Australia) DMG-TR-AUS-1 => Tetris (Australia) rev. 1 DMG-TR-GPS => Tetris (Other countries) DMG-TR-ASI => Tetris (Asia) DMG-104CHN => Tetris (China) DMG-104 CHN => Tetris (China) with label "For China only" DMG-TR-HKG => Tetris (Hong Kong) DMG-TR-KOR => Tetris (Korea) DMG-TR-ROC => Tetris (Taiwan) Tetris Playtronic Yellow (Brazil) Tetris Playtronic Gray(Brazil) I'll post the pictures of the ones I have in the following replies
  17. I should've been more precise with my question: I'd like pictures of the 2 Tetris carts
  18. FYI I fount the answer where the dates are explained, for the others ignorants like me
  19. Hi, do you have any pics of the differences between DMG-104-CHN and DMG-104-CHN-FCO?
  20. Dang 3000 carts it would take a serious amount of time Yeah it's been some time that I'd like to find a way to contribute to some kind of database to list and preserve all games! I'll search the topic you're talking about
  21. @JVOSS I'll do it as soon as I can Is there a thread dedicated to this? Because I have a lots of carts, some Japanese, and if it can be useful I could publish other ones.
  22. Thanks @RH and @JVOSS I was asking because I'll soon make a topic for my GB Tetris collection, and want to have a final list of the carts I'm looking for. Anyway, what I understood from @RH was that it was not explicitly made this way, meaning the production process for this one was the same as the one with the dashes. The fact that the dashes are "missing" would be involuntary from Nintendo. As for @JVOSS's answer, I never heard of those date codes. I found some of @JVOSS explications on this thread : But I don't understand the correspondance of the date codes and the actual dates. Is there a thread where this is explained?
  23. Do you have more information on the "DMG TR USA" without the dashes? I never heard of it before and wonder if it's like the first release? Thanks
