  1. When I sold my copy with its slip cover a few years back, I ended up selling it for $30 over the going price. So you're probably looking at possibly a $30 premium, mine was in immaculate condition as well.
  2. I absolutely will! I look forward to it.
  3. Thanks for holding this contest, Jeevan. It was fun! I actually used my PC for something other than web browsing for once. Too much? Lol
  4. Haha, thank you! Sorry about that, I wanted to keep my score a secret until near the end. I also wanted to see what I was up against as far as competition went.
  5. Hey, not sure if you're still interested or not but, I have a couple of unopened packs of Chamber of Secrets. If so, feel free to PM me.
  6. I'll try to avoid overlapping too much with games already mentioned, excluding a few of the hardest to find games. There are honestly quite a few titles at this point that aren't easy to track down anymore. For the most part, these titles only ever have 0-1 copy for sale at any given time. I'm sure that I'm probably missing a few though. International Superstar Soccer 99 (This will be the most difficult one to track down) Bomberman Quest (Either this or Return of the Ninja will likely be your second to last game that you need when going for a complete set) Return of the Ninja Space Marauder Kelly Club Laura Classic Bubble Bobble 10 Pin Bowling Puzzle Master Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 4 (There's usually at least 1 expensive copy up for sale at all times these days) Wendy Every Witch Way (Shows up for sale less than Shantae at this point) F1 World Grand Prix II (This one also goes through droughts pretty regularly, it went through a long one up until last year, now you can usually find at least 1-2 copies available on eBay) The Road to El Dorado (This one can be surprisingly difficult to find, shows up maybe twice a year) Zoboomafoo: Playtime in Zobooland (Another fun one to track down)
  7. Seeing as how the Switch is a portable system and the PS5 isn't, I don't see the PS5 copies having a huge impact on the price of Switch copies. If people just wanted to play the game on any console and didn't want to pay $500+ for a switch copy, they most likely would have either bought the PS4 physical version (Still pricey, but not $500+ pricey) or a digital copy on the numerous platforms. Much like how some people thought that the Shantae re-release on GBC by LRG would impact prices of the original GBC release (It didn't), I can see why people would think the same with Pirate's Curse, but it won't. For one thing, plenty of people simply won't purchase the PS5 version because they can't get their hands on a PS5 yet, and are probably thinking that they'll just pay x2 as much on the second hand market when they can finally get their hands on a PS5. I've always found the logic of "I won't buy the games until I own the console" to be stupid, since you run the risk of missing out on awesome sales on games that you know you'll want to play later on, but that's how many people operate. Oh, and the Switch is a Nintendo console. I mean, do we really even need to go over the fact that Nintendo ports of most games seem to always cost more than on other consoles? Plus you've got insane full set collectors, and Shantae collectors as a sub group, and bla bla bla. The only thing that's going to impact the switch port of Pirate's Curse prices, is the overall softening of the market right now.
  8. Kirby Star Stacker on GB is looking to be another game boy game that'll be $40-$50+ in the next year. There's a whopping 5 US copies on eBay, so it'll be fun to see where that one goes. Shantae and the Pirate's Curse on 3DS will likely be pushing $150+ not too long from now, that one is honestly a no brainer. A couple of reasons pointing to why this'll be the case. It's the only other way to play it on a handheld, and physical 3DS copies are currently the most "affordable" way to play it, not including digital (duh).
  9. Only 17 listings on eBay! Better get them while you can! Only 1 CIB listing though.
  10. Shantae Pirate's Curse on Switch, I just want to know that I can finish the set, man! I should have just bought it when it was going for $150-$200, but I'm sure you know how that usually goes. Lol
  11. Pretty sure Ultimate Beach Soccer is still far rarer than that variant. Hell, a CIB copy of UBS seems to pretty much beat everything on the GBA in terms of rarity.
  12. Nah, I doubt it. The Switch is portable, the PS5 isn't. Unless Sony or Microsoft do something similar to the Switch, switch counterparts of games will more than likely always cost more than any other version of said games, as long as the games don't run like garbage on Switch that is. When people couldn't afford copies of Pirate's Curse on Switch, they went for the next best thing, the 3DS version of Pirate's Curse. It's nearly a $100+ game now, and even the Ps4 version's price has about doubled in value. I don't see the Ps5 version making a dent in the price on Switch, but prices do seem to be cooling off naturally right now. It would actually be funnier if the Ps5 version also ends up costing a shit ton in the future, because no one bought it, because they didn't own or couldn't get their hands on a Ps5. If that ends up being the case, I guess you could say that the game is cursed to be expensive no matter the console.
  13. Seeing as how it looks like a GBC game, yep! I plan on pre-order a copy.
  14. Ha! What little drawing talent I have, tends to be used mostly for evil. The thing that I'm best at is sniffing out which games will be worth a butt ton in the future, unfortunately this also comes with a curse! Unforeseen expenses that crop up constantly, and the inability to hang on to any of said games until they're worth a ton. I'm right about 90% of the time, and I have 4 Amazon lists full of GC, PS2, DS & GBA games that cost a shit ton now to prove it. That's life! I will draw from time to time as well. Wouldn't consider myself good, but it's probably the other thing that I'm best at. I mostly just use my mediocre drawing skills to draw smut and shit though.
  15. Very nice! Yeah, with the gap between CIB and sealed prices beginning to close, I can't imagine it being too long before even $90 looks like a steal. One of the last two CIB copies on ebay is up for auction with 11 watchers, so that'll be interesting to watch. The other one can be pieced together with that $35 cart and $29 case & manual that are both for sale.
  16. A "brand new" copy of Touch Detective on DS for $89.95 BIN: https://www.ebay.com/itm/363183425083? I'd ask for pictures of the folds and back of the case before buying it, just incase. Or just take the jump, the seller has a 100% feedback rating and nearly 3k feedback.
