I have a retro brawler controller. One thing I noticed with it is. The control stick has a smaller range of movement, than the Nintendo controller. Making games like Conker, Mario, and, Golden Eye harder to play.

Mario 64 Sunshine then the rest are all about even for me.

Kirby 64 is done.

I was snowed in alot this month. That is how I knocked as many games out as I did.

Fox Sports College Hoops '99, done. Played through the NCAA Tourney.

I can tell you have never played Aidyn. That battle system sucks! You spend over half the time, while in battle, running to the enemy. Just to have them flee the battle. Wasting 10 or more minutes for nothing.

NASCAR 2000 is done.

I am going to try a my hand at some sports games while working on a platformer. Might start with Nascar. I feel like I will have better chance racing.

I had one of those Zenith console tvs. A late 70s or early 80s model. It had the little flip down button pad instead of a dial. The top of it was big enough to fit the SNES, Genesis, and N64. Had it until I moved out of the house. Not sure what Dad did with it. It is probably still out in the barn.

One more for today. WCW vs. NWO World Tour is done.

Conker’s Bad Fur Day is beat.

WWF Attitude done. I had a good draw and won the Rumble. So I went from rank 10 to 1 in the Heavy Weight Division. That saved a lot of matches.

I started chipping away at Attitude. I have the European belt and working on the IC. This is a long game it will be a few days. I figured up the minimum amount of matches required to finish story mode. It is 75 if you win out. Which isn’t likely in the later game where you get fatal fourways, triangle cage matches, and 2 on 1. ECW is way worse than Attitude on this.

Yeah, Gex was alright. The second form of the final boss gave me some fits, but the rest were quite enjoyable. Especially the godzilla fight.

So, I have been trying to finish up a few platformers. Besides Mario, I find them infinitely frustrating. The controls combined with level design and camera problems. Or, I just suck at them. The end of DK64 really bothers me. The part where you have to hit four floating rings with the jet pack to unlock a door. You have to activate the the jet pack which gives you 15 seconds to hit the rings, but the animation to equip the pack takes 5 seconds. Leaving you with 10 seconds to hit all the rings. All the while fighting the terrible camera and jet pack controls. Rage inducing. Maybe I need to play some non-Rare games.

WWF Warzone is done. This game would be better if the Tournament had a save function.

Battle for Naboo is done. That was my first time playing this. Not near as good as Rogue Squadron. It is almost all escort missions, and all the enemies are bullet sponges. Overall meh.

The Acclaim games WWF and ECW use button combos for all their moves. You just play them like a typical fighter. Only use special moves and you can rarely use the same move twice without being countered. The career modes in them are quite lengthy, also.

I was going to play Attitude or War Zone. Both are a little longer games. Word of warning ECW sucks hard core in story mode. There are a bunch of 3 on 1 and constant runins. I have only been able to beat it using Raven. Because of his mostly unbreakable finisher pin move.

Which one? That way I don’t start the same.

The World is not Enough, beat.

I have played through a rom of JP FF2 when nesticle was new. I remember 2 being a more complicated 1 with that job system. Side Note: the first time I played FF1. I beat the game with all mages. 2 Black, a Red, and a White. It was a slog. This was before the internet. So, I didn’t know about party building. I had a cart only copy. Didn’t have the manual . A school friend gave me the game. Final Fantasy IV was the first real RPG that I played. I know that VI is arguably a better game, but I enjoy playing IV more.

I picked wrong on your number system. US FF2 on SNES is my favorite.
