Played through and beat Riot Zone on my first attempt last night. Very easy as far as beat em ups go. Nothing too special, but I havn't played a good beat em up in a while so it scratched that itch. The opening cinematic was definitely the highlight of the game though. Very silly.

Buster Bros is one of my all time favorite video games. Asked my son to pick my next game for me and after checking out covers for a few minutes he chose it for me. Love this game so much, good choice kid!

Turns out the last 60 levels just let you level select to the end. I didn't even mean to do it. I played a few levels and then picked End Game instead of continue to see if there were items to collect in the last 60 stages (There are not), and then when I pressed play it just auto started me on the very last level and fed me the credits. The credits for all 3 loops are identical so I don't think doing all 180 stages is even necessary. Just the first 60 should be sufficient.

Figured it was something like that since your other reaction was a like. Just wanted to make sure so I could clear the air if something was off

I'm in the 100s now on Splash Lake. Made some decent progress today with my limited play time without getting stuck much. Over halfway!

Up to the 70s now in Splash Lake. Puzzles are getting much harder so my progress is slowing down a lot now.

Totally, there's a lot of manuals not scanned in online. My copy of Hit the Ice is sealed so I didn't want to open it and I couldn't find a scan of it anywhere when I went to play that one.

I tried really hard to make sure I at least got manuals with everything. Only missing 4 manuals

I dont think Ive ever actually pulled the entire collection off the shelf for a photo so here's a glamour shot of the full collection now that's its been beaten.

Some others that are still super tough that are left are: Athena, Bill Elliot’s NASCAR Challenge, Championship Pool, Boulder Dash, High Speed, Sky Kid, Star Force, Starship Hector, Top Gun 2nd Mission and Xevious. I can't believe Little Nemo is still on the list. That's game is so good and not too hard. Same with Flying Dragon/Flying Warrior. Those games are fun and not super challenging.

I don't remember anything specific about that wave other than just having to wait for the heads to show up and then hitting them. I checked my video to see if I was forgetting something, but I dont have any advice. Here's a link in case it helps. The part you're stuck at is around 35:17

Started working on Splash Lake this morning. Got to level 53 with all of the items so far. Sounds like if you can get all 60 items it'll open up 60 more stages and then if you get all 60 of those items it'll open up yet another 60 stages so 180 levels to go through all together.

Amazing job cracking The Last Starfighter! That game gave me SO much trouble!

If only I had a full set of either of those libraries and the time to go along with them. I'm actually in the process of selling nearly 900 PS2 games from my collection and I sold most of my PS1 games last month so those two aren't likely any more.

Gate of Thunder is done and it was fantastic. Really love this game and have never finished it before today. Great music, looks awesome all the power ups are amazing and you can swap them seamlessly whenever you want. Not too challenging, but just enough to keep you on your toes. Generous with the lives and continues. I played on Normal and the manual very clearly says that you have to play on Devil difficulty to truly defeat the Obellon armada, but I watched some videos on Devil Difficulty and it is the exact same ending. I think something was maybe lost in translation in the manual and it just meant to choose Devil to really challenge yourself.

So much Bonkin'! Finished all 3 Bonk's... again. 3 had a totally redone soundtrack which was kind of neat. It was mostly out of place music, but had a couple really cool track, like this one:
