austin532 | 469
I always thought it meant the system was sold in Washington but now I hear these were kiosk systems. Anyone know? Edited April 12, 2021 by austin532
fcgamer | 4,997
I never knew these were special. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled, whilst watching this thread

austin532 | 469
So I really don't think this is a kiosk unit. The ones I've seen have stickers on them as well as a connector coming out underneath them. Anyone have any other ideas?
Code Monkey | 2,128
I'm guessing S is serial and W is a distribution code. They may have had units go out to 3 or 4 different distribution centres and those centres distributed locally.
austin532 | 469
Sooo this is a very long shot but could the WA stand for Without Audio? The one I have doesn't have any sound. If it really is a display model and not a kiosk model it would make sense not to have audio. I highly doubt it but I'm just throwing it out there. W and A could both be location identifiers for where they will be shipped.

I doubt that’s the case. These consoles are built on an assembly line. Any minor changes to the design wouldn’t be worth the cost savings due to how relatively few units would need to be made without sound. They would have just used standard consoles
