CIB_Wholesale | 418
some of my nes boxes are sort of fluffy and others are very sharp . Some other boxes i have are water damaged but dont fluff out and paint flake off like that what makes it fluffy? is it moisture damage? the box materials are different than other nes games or the type of wear? dogbowl | 154
I expect its a combination of water and time that makes the difference. GPX | 1,444
It can also be from small insects nibbling on the box. But it could be from a combination of different reasons and not just one sole reason (eg. smoke, moisture, water damage, friction rub etc.) Link to comment https://www.videogamesage.com/forums/topic/13850-nes-box-wear-what-makes-it-fluffy/#findComment-377894 Share on other sites

The stationary store is so useful for preserving games. 2 Link to comment https://www.videogamesage.com/forums/topic/13850-nes-box-wear-what-makes-it-fluffy/#findComment-378102 Share on other sites

CIB_Wholesale | 418
https://www.livescience.com/titanic-shipwreck-disintegrating-into-the-sea.html it's molting away. sometimes find little pieces at the bottom of the acrylic case i guess it's just speeding up a natural process. I wonder if all the cardboard will do it eventually Link to comment https://www.videogamesage.com/forums/topic/13850-nes-box-wear-what-makes-it-fluffy/#findComment-378148 Share on other sites
