Lago | 241
I've compiled a list of Wii U games, and attached a PDF. I believe this list to be complete as far as total games. I wouldn't be surprised if I was missing some variants. If you see anything that needs to be added let me know and I'll update the list. Also, it would be nice to know which games have printed manuals. I'm working towards a full set (without variants) and think I'm missing a few manuals. I had heard of the refurbished titles but didn't realize there was one for WW HD.

My Wii U set is about 90% sealed, so I'm not going to be much help on the manuals question, sorry!

Lago | 241
@VGCollectaholic ok I didn’t expect to be missing that many variants! That’s great work! I’ll get the list updated sometime after Thanksgiving.
bowser | 600
@VGCollectaholic I just noticed that the Zombi U pack in game with the Zombi U Wii U deluxe set is actually marked as an NFR. Does that count as a variant?

You need to add Shakedown Hawaii. Other than that it’s a complete list of games BUT NOT a complete list of variants.

Was Star Fox Guard released as a standalone title, or did it only come bundled with Zero? And was there a 2nd version that only had Zero not bundled with Guard? Does New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U have additional content from the two standalone releases that would warrant making it a unique release and not a variant? Take any information I have on variants at your own risk. I’ve never seen Starfox as anything other than a bundle. Although you could piece it together from GameStop back in the day. Also 5 below had them at one point. From everything I can tell there is no difference between the U’s and you absolutely could count that as a variant. Luigi U is the only Wii U game I ever saw with a green case. If that sort of thing is important to you.

OldManZero | 0
Well, after waiting years to complete my variant set by finding a Target Jurassic Park big box, the first listing I'm finding is asking for $8K. I've been debating giving up and listing all of my variants. Perhaps this is a sign.

If it actually sells then it's a different story.

It's just kind of snapped me into reality that I've been searching for this one variant for years and I'm not sure if I've got the heart to pay even a fraction of that price. I know others have offered more than $1K+ for another copy years ago. It just kind of makes me stop and take stock of what I want to get out of collecting the Wii U. inasuma | 1,227
Just found this thread, super helpful! I recently went searching for Mario kart 8 variants and wanted to share my findings. The only thing I haven’t figured out is if the same NFR as in the Wii U Deluxe Set was used for the NYC exclusive blue shell figure bundle. - Made in USA, UPC 00100, print code 82909A, "Nintendo Network" badge - Made in USA, UPC 00101, print code 82909B, "Nintendo Network" badge - Made in USA, UPC 00100, print code 83055A, NFR 2014 Wii U Deluxe Set Pack-In - Made in USA, UPC 00100, print code 101514A, amiibo badge, "amiibo sold separately" text - Made in Japan, UPC 00000, print code 101979A, amiibo badge, "amiibo™ sold separately" text I'm pretty sure 82909A is the very first NTSC-U print. inasuma | 1,227
More game prints for the list. This time Bayonetta 2 (NTSC-U). - Made in USA, serial code 00000, print code 83663A, includes Bayonetta 1 - Made in USA, serial code 00101, print code 83663B, includes Bayonetta 1 - Made in USA, serial code 00100, print code 100178A, includes Bayonetta 1 - Made in Japan, serial code 00000, print code 103567A Also, you're reading the above correctly. There's a Made in USA print with a 00000 serial. I don't get it, especially because revision B (next line) is 00101. So it must have been a printing error or something.
