NesQuest | 93
I know it's probably super simple, but I'm having a tough time removing the battery pack from this Nomad. I don't want to force movement too hard for fear of breaking something. Is there a specific trick to getting these things free????
a3quit4s | 4,103
I had the same issue with mine last week. I had to use an ifixit spudger to give myself some leverage in order to pop it off.

phart010 | 1,707
It is very difficult to remove. I have decided to never put it back on again because I was afraid I was nearly going to break it last time I took it off. I will send you a photo of the back later so you can see where all the notches are
Tanooki | 4,936
There really is no trick to it, but maybe it kind of settled stuck in place if it has been on there for years with the usual hot/cold expansion with time and dust might of glued it in place a bit. It should just pop right off, well, up, it slides up, to come away.

There was no getting off without leverage on mine.
NesQuest | 93
Just noticed this spot circled acts like a button. Get a tiny flathead screwdriver and pull that little flap up gently...it just slides right off!! Edited December 28, 2022 by NesQuest
