FireHazard51 | 2,043 Social Team ·
This PS4 had a busted HDMI port (likely from falling backwards while plugged in). I identified the fault, got the replacement parts, removed the bad port, and replaced the port while making sure to correct all the shorts in the HDMI connections that I had made (4 of them). First time plugging it in and zero issues. AND I only had one left over screw so I improved upon Sony's design by identifying an excess screw. Also this PS4 need some serious TLC 7 1

FireHazard51 | 2,043 Social Team ·
My co-worked what so happy about my fix (I asked for $30 bucks for the fix to cover the cost of materials to fix it) that she got me this... Spoiler The best gift was hearing that her other son has been using the PS4 while his brother (owner of PS4) is away at college with his PS5. The young brother is an Xbox fan but has been loving the PS4 since he's mostly into single player games.
