TDIRunner | 2,727
I bought mine off Amazon and I haven't had any issues. I would provide a link, but the specific one I ordered isn't available anymore.
Tanooki | 4,930
When I last had a PSP a few years ago basically any sony one was done, bloat. But I found most of the copies were garbage who didn't last long or would bloat fairly soon except one model, the INSTEN brand one you can(could?) find on ebay. That one must have used the old factory/make up materials of the Sony one as they lasted just as long as an original, didn't run hot, or get funky with daily use. They made a couple models of it for the 1k/2k and 3k models.
phart010 | 1,705
I bought the Ostent battery on Amazon. Seemed to have good reviews. The battery arrived dead on arrival. I tried charging for several hours and it holds no charge. Requested a return with Amazon and they sent me a replacement. Same thing with the replacement… dead on arrival… I figured the batteries have been sitting in the warehouse for years, it appears the PSP has ended all production in 2014. And lithium batteries are only good on the shelf for like 1 year then they need to be recharged otherwise they can have irreversible degradation. So jumped on eBay and bought a Sony brand battery for a bit more, $15. This particular battery interestingly says “for customers in Taiwan only” on the back.. Same story here, dead on arrival. I am beginning to wonder if my PSPs battery charging circuit is defective. It’s hard for me to see that 3 different batteries can dead on arrival especially when the eBay/Amazon reviews look good. But my PSP does work when plugged into the AC adapter and the original PSP battery which is at the end of its life will hold a charge of up to 5 minutes. These other “new batteries” I am getting will not charge at all no matter how long I keep my PSP charging

a3quit4s | 4,093
Never had a problem with replacement parts from ifixit. Can probably find cheaper but quality wise it’s probably a safe bet. https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Game-Console/Sony-PSP-2000-3000-Battery/IF217-004?o=
