  1. For whatever reason there are a LOT of different Game Gear Carrying Cases out there.  I've run into quite a few, so I'm not surprised that you can't find any info on this one.  They are not typically worth much.

Cosmic Spacehead currently has a stated value at pricecharting.com of 115.99 for the cartridge while its manual is at 95.44.  What you saw for 750.00 would have to have been a CIB copy.

Also, what in the world is prescription collecting?

  2. Brought To You By @NESfiend Inspirations: It's The PII breakdown of 2008's "Skate Or Die!" The Movie.

If you've never witnessed anything like this before it's basically just my breakdown of the movie plot with crunchy bits of peanut gallery style commentary along the way.  If you're afraid of spoilers..., don't be.  You probably don't want to see this movie anyway, so why not enjoy my quick and easy to read summation?  It's much more entertaining than actually watching the movie anyway.  If you do wish to view the film, it is on youtube in French with Spanish subtitles.

...yeah, I told you, you didn't actually want to watch it.  Why not trust me?

From about 1917-1926 some young women who worked in watch/clock factories would later die a miserable death due to radiation poisoning.  Their job involved painting clock and watch dials with radium paint.  To get better detail they would frequently moisten the tips of the delicate paint brushes in their mouths.  In addition many would take paint home and decorate their bodies with it to amuse their boyfriends, They became collectively known as the radium girls.

The dangers with radiation really weren't understood - even the eminent researcher Madame Curie would die from radiation induced leukemia.

Sounds like a good read.  Seems there's a long history of people being led to believe that this or that is perfectly safe until guess what?  You can't, because you're dead.

    ...or severally maimed....

And as a scientist, my immediate reaction is "seriously, you can't lick gas people" 🙂

Sure you can, I just licked the air!  It just doesn't push back much. 😉

On a completely unrelated note: Anyone for a Helium Smoothie?  You'll probably never use your tongue again, but you can try it once!

...My inspection was not exhaustive, but the part that caught my eye was that licking "Uranium" was only considered "maybe not a good idea."    😹
