Yep, this feels very familiar (I'm looking at you, 2015 contests). If you thought last week was tough, just get out now I kid, I kid. Kinda. It's going to be a slug fest! That year, I scored 70 and tied for 14th! hahaha. It was a lot of fun though! I freakin love Tecmo Bowl! (BTW, @bertsampson won that year...)

Score updated on page 5. That's all I got and sadly I suspect it's not enough to matter. I actually had a major issue posting my score right at the end where the image wasn't refreshing. I use my own website and was just overwriting the same file for each update. I noticed that sometimes it wouldn't refresh in the browser. I feel like it's a local caching issue, however when I loaded the direct URL in a new tab, the right image showed up, but not in the actual thread (even when switching away and even refreshing the page). @Gloves is there any server-side caching happening for linked content like images to speed things up?

I confused Busta Rhymes with Sticky Fingaz from Onyx. He was doing some gruff, throaty growls in there haha. It helps if you actually watch the video part (which I did not until just now to check what was going on)

I don't think I played Kung Fu until the 2015 contests. It's a really fun game. The closest thing I can think of that I had played growing up was Kicker (in the arcade). That's a game I'd love to play again!

That's the interesting part about this game. It has a certain level of variance, but ultimately, it's about how few mistakes you make. I think it's pretty cool. You can do the same thing over and over and just get better at it as you go.

I had been using them all on the first floor but just started my attempts with the dragons. I haven't decided which is more fruitful. It seems like a perfect run on the first floor should get you around 250k (while still advancing to the 2nd floor). It would be all survival after that. I've not had great luck there yet

Ouch. I guess the boss fights were too much? Did a little Kung Fu of your own? Gave it a flying lesson? I think you get the idea...

I feel that I should be able to hit 300k by the time we're done. I don't think I'll get much more than that, but you never know. I've enjoyed playing this again.

Philosophically, we'll keep existing one heart beat at a time, until we make more mistakes than we can weather.

Also wondering if we can get a scoreboard update? Pretty please with Mario on top (or Luigi, if you're into that kind of thing)???

Also score update, page 5. I'm getting the hang of it again. I was looking at my past scores and realized that I last played Kung Fu during the 2015 contests. I think that was also the first time I had played it!
