Smaller by the day. I've already turned a corner mentally with my collection as I approach 40 in the near future and know I don't want to take it all with me. I'll always collect in some capacity but I don't need thousands of games. I'm not sure where I'll end up, but a nice number to shoot for would be about 500-750 various items to me. That's a much more manageable number that would be my goal.
I hear ya. Finally started listing the collection last week. Was really weird when I shipped the first game, now I’m obsessed with getting rid of nearly everything. Would probably be different if I still had a nice room to display it.

1112
Ozzy has the better song, but that Romantics song played at Ben Franklin when I worked there during high school in the late 90’s so it’s an easy vote.

To add to my post above. Mononoke and Spirited Away are nearly perfect movies. Nausicaa and Arrietty are the most underrated. Totoro and Kiki and Laputa and Cagliastro are must watches too. Howl and Ponyo lag behind but are solid watches. The more humanized stuff is not nearly as good IMO.

I have seen every one except for the latest one. My favorite is Princess Mononoke. You people voting for Howl’s Moving Castle need to have your heads examined (unless it’s the only one you’ve seen).

7 for Stevie 5 for Lindsey
The video of Stevie singing Silver Springs to Lindsey is one of my favorite music moments of all time. She straight up stares daggers through his soul, but he doesn’t back down an inch. Plus incredible harmonies between the two plus Christine make for a great scene. Starts around the 4:20 mark.

You are a lucky man! My wife rolls her eyes every time she hears the intro lol.
She’s known for starting a series, getting a couple episodes in and abandoning it, so my hopes are up too much.

6th rewatch
My wife has finally expressed an interest to watch The Sopranos, so a rewatch might be in my future soon.

Nice eye. I love that it seems "authentic" to have some information, but I question those numbers a bit. The Pure Evil is relatively common compared to the rest, I'm highly skeptical more Super Monkey balls were printed than it. You also think that Sonic would have printed more than Super Monkey Ball... Sonic was much more of a bread winner wasn't it?
Not saying that the data is right, but at that point in Sonic’s lifespan, he was struggling and Super Monkey Ball was doing very well from my standpoint. Knew lots of people playing Monkey Ball and no one playing Sonic.

6 for the nostalgia.

It’s a fantastic show. If I go it would be as a vendor as I just started parting out my collection. Unsure if it will work out as of now though.

5/10 it was a decent watch, but got tiresome hearing a different version of the same joke for 2 hours. Nice performances and Margot is always nice to watch.

I give it a 9. Incredible song even though it’s been played to death.

Damn nice find!

I agree except for part 5 which seemed to turn it around for me. Not as good as part 1, but better than the others.
I didn’t even give the 5th one a chance because the 4th one was so bad. Maybe I’ll watch it soon.

That's long gone man. I traded that over a decade ago. Got what I considered at the time to be a good trade, though considering what I could get nowadays I don't thing Chip & Dale 2, the Dungeon Magic strategy guide and $100 US was really enough.
I think that’s still fine. @Nintendopower4ever has one on eBay for $600 which isn’t too far from what you got for yours.

That could be the best bet. I'd still like a trusted person to be the guide for this, maybe @Dr. Morbis if he'd be willing/able, but someone else if not. I know a bunch of the local folks that would love to get a shot at some of these items. Some people have definitely expressed interest in a lot of things, but having someone I trust fully to make sure they're giving my family a fair offer would definitely ease my mind. And then from there they can sell the bulk stuff to Jeff because as much as I'd like them to get full value for every crap PS2 sports game, that would 100% be unrealistic, and a store would be a better place to unload the filler items on than hoping some random collector is willing to pay top dollar for NHL 2003 or some shit
How about that ADD Eye of the Beholder guide ISO

In case they don't want to keep your collection I think leaving behind a document that has rough values and a guide on how to sell would be best. You make them aware of the overall value and how to look up values in case they want to sell stuff. It also helps to know what stores have higher payouts for collections.
@Gloves mentioned leaving your credentials for them to sign in to VGS. I recall a former member passing away and someone sold the items off to benefit the family a few years ago.
Leaving anything useful for gauging value or contacts in a will can definitely help out your family very much.
When Jobber passed away suddenly, a group of us that personally knew him sold his collection and gave 100% of the proceeds to his family. It was a lot of work, but absolutely worth it. That is the best case scenario.
I have instructed my wife to reach out to some buddies to help with the same thing if something should happen to me. I’ve also talked to my brother about it with the key message being don’t discredit the value of anything, as stupid as it might seem to you. Do your due diligence with finding out the value before selling anything and don’t settle for 50% for a quick sale.

One of my favorite directors, I’ve seen all except for his first movie. Picked A Clockwork Orange as my favorite, but it wasn’t easy as I love a few others just as much.
Barry Lyndon and The Killing are his most underrated works IMO.

Yeah, that's what most people think, but I've always disagreed. I actually prefer the 2nd and 4th films over the 1st, which THAT I know is an insanely controversial opinion.
5th one kinda blows though, that's the only one of the whole series I'm not a big fan of. At least it has a good villain.
The draw of the first one was the charm and dialogue IMO. The subsequent ones moved more towards heavy action scenes with LARGE EXPLOSIONS as they went on.

Anyone here going as a vendor and want to split a booth? Looking to sell but only need a couple/few tables.
