That lockbox was part of the PS3/360 Collector's Edition. But I don't think it was shrinked like that in the LE set. Amazon later sold a bundle that included just the Greatest Hits copy of game plus the shrink-wrapped lockbox. I'm betting that's what this is from.
GLWS!

Ooo, I'm right there with you. I was SO excited for Kingdoms of Amalur when it was announced. I had a blast with it. It hasn't aged all that well, and the Re-Reckoning didn't do much to improve that, but I still have a fond place in my heart for it. It's a shame that 38 Studios crashed and burned through no real fault of the game.
I would have loved to see their plans for this world come to fruition - R.A. Salvatore + Todd McFarlane, yes please!
I managed to snag one of these Signature Editions from Treehouse when they went live. It was a Todd McFarlane version. (For those unfamiliar - there were 300 signature editions made - and the Prismatic Troll figure is randomly signed by one of either Todd McFarlane, R.A. Salvatore, or Curt Schilling.)
It took me a while afterwards, but I ultimately found one of each of the Signature Editions - Salvatore, McFarlane, and Schilling. Hands-down one of my favorite sets.

I love seeing old collection pics. Sorry to hear about the ultimate fate of these guys though!

Nice work! I’m working towards a Japanese collection which I feel may be just as hard or even harder. Some of the limited editions are so hard to find. I do want a side set of the LRG/east Asia soft stuff but didn’t get any at retail so this is going to hurt haha.
Ooh, yeah a Japanese set with all of the various limited/special edition double-dips would be a Vita PITA. Good luck with it!
Back when I was going hard on Vita I was going for a worldwide physical English language set. But I set a rule for myself where I'd only do other regions that weren't released in the US. So my hierarchy was NA/ESRB > Asia w/ English covers and language > PAL UK release > PAL other > Asia w/ English language but non English covers. I think I have 160 or so imports knocked out including most of the East Asia Soft ones. I haven't updated my English import checklist in a couple years though so I'm sure I've fallen way behind.

Big congrats on the full sealed set! Major achievement. I have one sealed set collection going now and it's a cat & mouse game waiting for prices to drop vs them going out of print. The way some companies have stopped large physical release printing I've seen a lot of stuff go out of print. Keeps me sharp on my toes
Thanks! I haven't quite wrapped it up yet, but the stuff that's left to upgrade won't be too painful.

Glad you found it beneficial! I don't know how many hours I spent back then rigging everything up and then trying to remember how it was rigged up when I inevitably needed to change or add something. A console connection schematic proved to be very helpful lol.

No shortcuts........ Here are the North American Vita releases.
Love it lol. I've had a mostly-sealed Americas/ESRB set for a couple years now and have just been filling in the final releases as they trickle out. I picked up all the limited run-type stuff at release along the way for retail price, but filled out most of the "standard retail" stuff on the cheap at clearance at various Targets when Vita was being phased out. Target Clearance was an absolute Vita gold mine.
I hadn't been paying much attention to Vita as a result, but a couple months ago I decided to upgrade the 20 or so games that I'd actually opened to just make the set sealed and was shocked how much some stuff has appreciated - especially sealed prices among the games that most people presumably opened to actually play (Uncharted, God of War, P4 Golden, etc). Between those and the LRG-type manufactured scarcity, I feel for anyone just diving into Vita.

Could you elaborate more on this one? I’m interested in the story behind this.

I thought I heard at some point that he’s also pretty stingy about giving out his autograph
Miyamoto definitely is stingy with autographs. His is a tough one for sure - a lot of the Miyamoto autographs out there are fakes. I wouldn't buy a Miyamoro without reasonable provenance.

Yep, I'm with @DefaultGen - I'd rather have a single recognizable/notable signature than a group of folks I don't know. Especially on modern games with massive dev teams.
I've collected signed games for quite a while now, but I don't expect them to be the next Babe Ruth signed baseball of collectibles. I've been an autograph collector outside of my gaming interest too (baseballs, footballs, scripts, etc), so my video game autograph collecting is just sort of a marriage of interests for me.
Right now my pet project on that front is putting together a collection of each year's Madden signed by that year's respective cover player(s). I have a good chunk of them knocked out so far. Frankly, that's been more fun than actually playing Madden has been in about a decade.

I'm in the NYC metro area (Fairfield County, CT) and have been house hunting for about a year. This wasn't a reaction to COVID, it was just the poor luck of my down payment liquidity timeline and so Q2-3 2020 had been my plan for a couple years prior. Poor timing indeed.
I'm looking primarily in smaller towns in my area, where all of the properties are relative large (for being in a "town", 2-3 acres) with lots of privacy. That has made this area a hotbed for people leaving NYC itself. Every open house I go to has 12-20 cars and they all have NY plates.
Interestingly though, in the past 2-3 weeks the frenzy does indeed seem to be starting to slow. Where literally everything on the market would sell in days (a week tops) for well over asking price, I am not starting to see listings sit on the market a bit. I even got a bunch of "price reduction" alerts from my Realtor.com app the past couple days.
The stats seem to be backing up my anecdotal observations too. The number of new mortgage applications being filed nationwide (the US MBA Purchase Index) has plummeted in the past month. In fact, it's now basically back down to the level that it was in 2018-2019 before COVID. Here's the link if anyone's interested.
So perhaps the tide is turning.

Thanks funny thing is I have that game in my collection but somehow missed adding it to the list. Let me know if I’m missing any of the EastAsia Soft stuff when you get a chance.
No prob, will do! I relocated all of my EastAsia Soft stuff to make room, so I need to dig it out of storage.

I just cross-checked your lists with mine on LRG, SLG, and RAG. The LRG and SLG lists look complete, but Red Art Games is missing Ice Cream Surfer.
I'll can cross-check EastAsia Soft this weekend.

They definitely sold more than 90. This was their second release, after Poop Slinger. Poop Slinger supposedly sold 84 copies (based solely on Tweets from the publisher).
Poop Slinger had skyrocketed in price before Tamashii ever went on sale, so people knew what Limited Rare Games was and that it wasn't a scam deal at that point. (Poop Slinger went on sale on April Fools Day and people thought it was a scam.)
Given the number of people complaining about slow shipping time on Tamashii on the publisher's Twitter account, I'm betting they sold however many copies they made available - several hundred copies at the very least based on the Tweets and the copies that have already been on eBay.

Looking to buy a CIB US copy of Magical Chase to finish off my Turbo set. Must be in at least NM condition. Drop me a DM if you have one you're looking to move.
Thanks!

I might be interested in that Radical Rex you mentioned. Does it have the original longbox jewel case with the sticker on the front? If so, I'd be interested in it to upgrade my copy (which is missing the sticker but otherwise mint).

These may not be one of a kind, but they're pretty rare. LOtR Error disc (Disc plays Crash Twinsanity) and NHL 2K6 (disc plays Genji: Dawn of the Samurai) and a miscut cover.
RE Outbreak Public Beta is a bit rarer then some of the other PS2 Public betas out there. I've got a few others too.
Those are awesome - I love stuff like this! I had no idea those errors were out there. The only error disc I have is the PS1 Raiden Project that plays as Kileak.
