I saw that! that was a weird one, Australian exclusive. I might just pick this copy up. Still not sure why they did that code-in-box release to begin with... I'm not sure about the other two titles yet. Both seem to be good titles though.

New limited print company?

I have to say I really like this idea. Adding a tier to badges means that for ex you might be able to see I own a lot of pokemon games, but just because I have no desire to own "Hey you, Pikachu!" doesn't mean I'm not a really big fan.

Ditto this. I did like the badges but there were too many imo. I liked the series awards and a few others but way too many seemed just weird or nonsensical. Transactions were a great part of NA, and easy to see how a member's previous transactions and led to credibility. The layout here is fine, but because I was used to NA I'm slow to adapt. But tbh this forum has made me much more active, as I slowly trailed off when my personal life got busy back during the NA days. Also ditto someone's comment about not shoving WATA down our throats. Some of us, get this, don't care about sealed or graded games. I don't mind the occasion topic on those things but when they are stickied... really. Sticky important posts to everyone lol. But so far I wanna say that the VGS staff has done a great job! Thanks guys!

I started out going for full switch steelbook collection too but then my wallet and collecting fatigue hit me. So now I’m just going for the poiemon steelbooks. Only solved one of the two problems I had because my wallet still hates me...

I went for the Target dual pack with steelbook. I just love the steelbooks, plus I have all the previous pokemon steelbook (I think?). I kinda wish I picked up the walmart dual pack that was $20 cheaper but that pack did not include a steelbook. A shame...

Oh ok yea I think it is probably the same one I am looking at then. I usually don’t mind too much about the back labels for my carts personally. I think all the ones in the photo I posted above have them, but a few are def a little damaged. My preference is just that the cart is undamaged.

Were you planning to include hyrule warriors nfrs in your collection? I think a seller on ebay has a 3ds nfr of it for cheap!

Yea as time went on more of the usa distributions slowly leaked. There were like two or three incidents I remember where a seller dumped a bunch of carts at once. I started collecting like 4 Years ago almost at this point I think, and at that point, meloetta and keldeo carts were pretty common for under 50$, then a few years later someone sold a bunch of those damaged carts, and another seller had a few of each that were almost impossibly rare before (namely secret key and zoroark went from near the top of them all to like the middle, and that’s when I got my Regigigas/Shaymin, which I’m pretty sure I’d never even seen a photo of before). Eur prices are insane. Part of it is I’m from the usa so it’s harder for me to get my hands in them, but also the eur carts seem to leak less, and/or have a lower print run probably too. I have a few Eur nfrs (one is on the photo!) but they are all unorganized and scattered right now.

Let’s get some collection pics going! I’ll start with my favorite subset: pokemon distribution cartridges. This photo isn’t quite up to date for my collection, but you get the picture. This is all the “-USA” region Pokemon distribution cartridges, all undamaged (except dragonite, which if you have an undamaged one please PM me about that!). These definitely vary in rarity, but there does exist a bunch of damaged/snipped cartridges and even some board transplants on ebay for cheaper. The rarest to find (for me) was Shaymin/Regigigas (NTR-Y60E-USA), which is rare even to come by damaged. None of these are quite holy grail rarity though, the print size for north america were more generous then other regions. I’ll try to update with more photos of my collection later!
