My repro copy of a "US" Terranigma is pieced together but I was able to snag a Timewalk printed map from their site about a week before they shutdown. They accidentally sent me a Mother repro cart and then told me to keep it. Pretty cool of them, but I also got the impression they were just looking to get out of the game.

Your friend should wait until theres a big retro game convention in the states and plan a vacation around it bringing only the top 50 high price titles. Sure it's lots of $$ to travel, but if he/she pairs it with that then maybe it's more justifiable I guess.
