  1. No regrets… just some bad purchases along the way
  2. @Gloves what do I need to do to graduate from the title of "thief"... LOL.
  3. Thanks all, I was confident to begin with since I've seen @skinnygrinny around for a while. Always nice to have some extra feedback from the community for a bigger sale. Much appreciated. This has been a grail item for me for a while now!
  4. I totally understand full set collectors, but it’s not for me. Too many filler titles in every library that I care to store. If I were to consider any full set I’d definitely go OG GameBoy cart only. I’d even entertain a curated Top 300 SNES or NES titles cart only collection.
  5. The only box I regret tossing is Star Keeper with the postage from China. Oh well.
  6. My collection is mostly based on what I want to have and keep, regardless of monetary value. I don’t own any $1k+ games, but if I did the only guilt I would feel is the paranoia that I own an asset and would need to insure it properly. Collecting just to collect IMO comes with the risk of devaluing the personal attachment to items and making it all about the money. I could understand where maybe guilt comes into play for some on that level. If it brings you joy, you should keep it guilt free.
  7. It’s one of the very first versions of the SD2SNES. It has roughly 95% library compatibility. You can read the specifics on Stone Age gamer’s site. It’s a great little device and has held up despite its age.
  8. I’d say they have some value. I don’t know the specifics off hand, but The Incident is a great game!
  9. This was the exact release I first purchased back in 1996. Of course I trashed mine as a kid does, but years ago I decided to re-buy and had a hard time finding one in good condition. I ended up paying $50-$75, they are not as easy to come by as one would think!
  10. They did… it’s honestly not a great quality release. The gameplay is decent for those who are a fan of the original.
  11. I'm surprised it's taken this long. I'm shocked at how few selections there are at this point... like who is going into to buy a CD at Best Buy that doesn't already use Spotify or something similar? I'm a music geek and I still hunt for cool physical media finds, but they certainly aren't at Best Buy. I guess they figure some people run out of ideas for gifts and just figure, I'll buy them a 4K Bluray, or a lame vinyl reissue for $50.

I'm only looking to ship one package. They are all yours @TDIRunner. Sending you a PM now for details.
  13. Selling is key for me and my journey… while there’s nothing more annoying than having to re-buy items at a loss (that I had sellers remorse over)… it ultimately made me realize which items I actually care about physically owning vs the ones that took up space. All part of the purge and now I really love and cherish the gems that made the cut!
  14. It’s an item that has been idolized for the last 20 years… so yeah, people conjure up their desires based on what everyone else wants. I don’t get it either… but I get why it happens.
  15. I will also consider a trade for anything in my WTB thread (click here) All prices are shipped in the US Chip's Challenge (SNES CIB) - port of the PC by The Retro Room. $25 shipped. TMNT IV - Turtles in Time SNES (manual only), very clean copy with just minor nicks along some edges. - $25 shipped I also have FS/FT/FO... pictures available upon request PS1 - Doom CIB (longbox) NES - Tetris (VGA 85+ Gold) NES - Sqoon (cart + manual)
  16. CGA aren’t the cheapest, but they are well made and worth the $ in my opinion.
  17. If it were me, I would grab all the items that I know I want to keep and literally put those aside. Then I would group by rarity… Very Rare > Uncommon > Common > Shovelware. You could also consider grouping by what most want… ie, classic titles and Top 25 most purchased games. I think this would be easier to determine what carts have value and how to sell them. You’d hate to throw a rare $100 cart into a pile of what you think are just commons because they are alphabetized.
