I love Betrayal Games. Betrayal at House on the Hill, Betrayal Legacy, Betrayal at Baldur's Gate (shoutouts to D&D)
The One vs all part of betrayal is what loses me. It seems like I am the only person that feels that way, but even Dead of Winter and Fury of Dracula fall short for me for that reason...which is a bummer because I want more games with a horror theme...

I would think this is ok for this particular discussion, but I am also not a moderator so it is not up to me.
There's no perfect way of doing it, but I sold off 300-400 games a couple years ago and what I did was listed everything on this forum with pics for 25% off of gvn (which is similar to vgpc) and buyer pays shipping. I then sold everything that was left in bite-size lots on Ebay.

Are you including dirty resale or just keeping for myself?
I think I sold you an Atari lot that had more games than I bought last year. Lol.

2019 had to be my 10-year low: 32 games. I spent way more money on tabletop games last year.

My stepdad would sit and play games with us. Sounds lovely right? Except that he'd get frustrated and take the controller away if we didn't play perfectly. It really sucked on collectathon games like Glover or DK64 cuz if we didn't pick up every collectible and 100% every game he'd be all pissy about it. Made playing games
I can understand why it sucked for you. 100%ing is taxing enough as it is without that. I play that way but I'm typically pretty loosey goosey with the kids. My goal is always to ensure the kids enjoy it even when I'm not so they'll put up with me when they are older and better than me.

I remember getting Glover for Christmas...man, I hated that game...

I'm halfway through SW Shadows of the Empire. I know I have beaten it before but very little so far has been familiar. Hoping to finish it tomorrow...

OMG, how the fuck do you get used to sarges heroes controls..........fuck me, no cross hairs unless u use the r button. That was a bit of an oversight imo. I kinda gave up a bit, gonna have to get used to that. Ill tackle them, even though I feel like the controls suck Also got my frickin blast corps in Came from Alaska, I didn't even notice until I checked on tracking. Almost international shipping lol. got free shipping tho. so that is a plus and a half
I played through Sarge's Heroes last summer and also marveled at how poor the controls are. I watched some gameplay of it on 3DO and it looked MUCH better...

Obviously it's going to be different in stores all across the country, but every conversation I've ever had at a GameStop has gone like this:
- GS Employee: Hi. Can I help you find anything today?
- Me: No, I'm just looking.
- GS Employee: OK. Let me know if you need anything.
I don't think that's too bad. And this applies to the 5 or 6 stores that I visit throughout the year.
The employees at the Gamestop nearest me typically ask what I've been playing and it usually goes like this:
Me - This last week, I put a couple hours into Gun.Smoke and Kickle Cubickle. Really good games that nobody really talk about...
GS employee - Ya, no doubt...I've been playing (insert indie anime title her)...
Me - Ya, sure...
I'd rather not have to go through that awkward exchange

got both sarges heroes in the other day, imma start working on them and continue with tetrisphere in between. Mix in some goldeneye even tho @Gloves beat me to it which is ok kuz i have been sucking at it and taking forever. I thought it would be a quick play, but apparently 10+ years of saying i need to play it was just too much.
Tetrisphere is beatable? That was one of the first games I ever owned as a kid and I still can't get any further than 12 y.o. me

My brother & I used to play Brunswick Pro Circuit Bowling for hours on end and we would win tournaments all the time, but I can't remember the lines we used. I played it for about an hour this morning with a high score of 167; we averaged 230's! Just hitting the pocket doesn't get it done, it is sooo touchy. I'm going to keep trying to figure it out without rage quitting...

They did have Bomberman Second Attack for a good price so I picked that up and a bunch of other low end N64 games that made sense because they have free shipping and the $1 off per game still applies.
Id love to pick up some XBOX titles from them, but we're a long way off so far. Hopefully they drop some prices. Definitely glad to to hear you got a deal...

I usually feel like I have to which means I get burnt out and dont finish it. I think that is one of the reasons I enjoy retro games more than modern games: 100%ing SMW or Mario 64 is much less time consuming than 100%ing Mario Odyssey.

I will be taking a long break from SW Shadows of the Empire. I would have sworn that I beat it before, but it is not at all what I remember.
