  1. Umm....no. I said... "No. They are properly controlling their weapon, which is their right to do, in protest, which is their right to do as well, to go against what they believe is bad politics by the Government and/or political drama. It does not matter what they have on them as anything can be classified as a weapon. A concrete milkshark, knives and pipes are just as dangerous as a gun against a person if not more so in close quarters(less than 21ft). A person that is willing to bash another person's head in with a concrete milkshake is more dangerous that a person being inert with a gun with no intent to use. There is no difference between that person with the AR or a person carrying concealed other than you don't know they have it. Brandishing is dependent on each State's guidelines of what they is. A gun is just a tool" I mentioned concrete milkshake as an example of a common item that can be weaponized to do harm and kill. I also mentioned knives and pipes. The whole "antifa was throwing concrete milkshakes" is something that has come up that can be true. It doesn't matter what the weapon is as a weapon is a weapon. Just because these people protested in Michigan with guns doesn't mean a thing. They could have protested with hundreds of concrete milkshakes and shaken them angrily at the officers and fake thrown them...but wait? A concrete milkshake isn't a weapon and you can't threaten with a simple milkshake. Them doing that would have been far more harmful, and probably illegal given that are assaulting people with possibility of death, then marching around with guns without the intent to harm. A gun is weapon and a tool which is only as dangerous as the guy holding it...just like the milkshake or pencil or whatever. Quite a lot of those guns at that rally and not a single person died....been a few like that already. The "nonsense" is calling them morons, which is insulting btw, then condemning their lawful actions because it's not liked by some people. It doesn't have to be liked, it's still legal where they live and their right to bear arms is protected. As I said before, You should be concerned that the situation, across the United States, has reached the point they have to protest armed not that they are. It's insults and dehumanizing that causes the most harm. It's thinking you are smarter than others, and the other side, that does more harm than good. What's also nonsense is your comment. That's racist and I expect you to apologize. Why would you make such a comment? Do you know why many black men are shot by police? Have you watched, in full, how many young black men are shot by police? The situation? Why many young black men are stopped by police? If a group of black men joined those men, and acted just like them, why would they be shot?
  2. You mean the media tells the truth and the police force of Portland isn’t controlled by politics? That antifa hasn’t been caught with improvised weapons and weapons? That Portland police hasn’t had leaks from current and former officers about political influence, heavy anti-police mentality, corruption, inability to do their jobs, officers quitting.... Yea, I’m so silly. If the police, and city, have a vested interest in keeping the peace I should totally take their word for it. I should totally just believe what the media says as truth from a police department with a sketchy record now. I need to trust the police and government. Yea, it’s so hard to believe it couldn’t possibly be true.
  3. You missed the point.... If you hit someone with something that can disable or kill them...who do you think is responsible? The concrete milkshake is still a weapon. Let's say that the person gets hit with your milkshake formula, then falls into the road blinded and gets hit...who's fault is that? Who hit who with a weapon and caused their death? Who had the intent to cause, maybe permanent, harm to another? That person is still more dangerous than the armed person with no intent. Or, what if the person has neck problems or head and you smash a heavy milkshake into them causing them death or paralysis? Who's fault is that? It was just a milkshake after all. This is all opinion though
  4. No. A gun is just a tool. And no, this protest means nothing in reality. The "restrictions" are constantly tried by the Government. They'll try it regardless and have been trying. If anything, just like Virginia, this is a warning to knock it off. That is the point of the 2nd Amendment. Canada just banned AR rifles and a slew of others. What makes you say they aren't responsible gun owners? Because they protested with guns, which again, is their right to do. You should be concerned that the situation, across the United States, has reached the point they have to protest armed not that they are. And lol, yes it does. "Responsible" gun owners need to be in control of their weapon at all times. How do you brandish a gun without control over it? If a CCW person flashes a gun to show they have one, that could be brandishing as you are going "Hey, I have a gun you didn't know about so back off". But a rifle, that is already visible. without the person doing anything aggressive...is that brandishing? If I have a CCW and start yelling at someone....is that brandishing? No, then why is it different if I'm open carrying? LEOs yell at people all the time, with an gun on their hip and sometimes out, is that brandishing? He's being mean and has a gun. Please. 1: to shake or wave (something, such as a weapon) menacingly brandished a knife at them 2: to exhibit in an ostentatious or aggressive manner brandishing her intellect : an act or instance of waving something menacingly or exhibiting something ostentatiously or aggressively : an act or instance of brandishing Edit: This is all my opinion though.
  5. Those “moron” are controlling their weapons as they should be. A slung weapon is weapon not under your direct control. An accident discharge can easily occur if the safety is accident disengaged by the gear and said gear discharges the weapon. They have open topped magazine pouches making it easier. This would increase the chance of a negligent discharge. The person with the fn2000 is not properly controlling their weapon, but they are probably thinking the position makes it ok as it’s in easy reach. Nice try.
  6. It’s from Mobile Fighter G. It’s a side story/alternate universe like Gundam Wing. In that universe, nations moved to space and used the Earth as a battleground for mobile suit “tournaments” for control. That suit belongs to Master Asia in the 2nd half. It’s probably a 1/100 series...possibly a master grade given the hands and movement. There’s a few other versions. edit: I should have been more clear. Master Grade is one of their model lines. Not toy line.
  7. There’s also the app. It’s ok for what it is. I’m just old school and like the pretty cardboard. My above post neglected to mention charizard being the pokemon. I’ve considered full setting it out of anger.
  8. I use to collect them way back when they came out here. I stopped around 3-4 sets in when I took a break and went to yugioh. I pulled like every holo but him. Buying packs is too much like gambling, so I just buy singles now of what I do play.
  9. I know quite a few mtg players. All of them stopped playing standard years ago. They mostly play modern and commander now. They all said the same thing. Standard was boring and the new cards were meh now.
  10. I skipped Pendulums. That was the start of the decline for me and link caused me to leave. Once the field started to change and the new mechanics changed certain types of gameplay...it didn't feel like yugioh anymore. Goat format, to me, is overrated. To me, instead of playing against spyral....you're just play against goat control. It's really no different. I found the best way to play is just to create decks and not focus on the meta. During the real goat I ran both Warrior and Dragon decks with tops. There's a lot of youtubers that highlight the non-meta decks you can make. Naruto TCG is probably dead. I never saw any locals playing it. Cardfight is interesting. There are no non-monster cards except the gifts.
  11. Dbz tcg died. But, there is a new one called Dragonball Super. My friend plays it and likes it so far. We’ll see if it survives this break. They had pretty decent tournament turnouts...no yugioh/mtg/pokemon. I always wanted to try force of will. But the game is such a cluster due to the horrid previous company decisions and new management messing up right off the bat.
  12. I use to play yugioh, pokemon, and cardfight. I sold it all, but started rebuilding again mostly fun decks. I started yugioh back when only LoB was released and left when god awful Link format started. I was even at Worlds in Vegas back in like 12’ I think? Fun decks are way cheaper. (pre new gen) cfv: Blau, Luard, and Regalia. Working on yugioh: black luster soldier super soldier, madolche, dark magician.
  13. Photos of sotn up. This is the main I’d like to sell. I’ll put up the ps2 lot later today.
