Oh Metal Gear Solid. God, the first game I broke my teeth on for the genre. I was 21, 22 when I FINALLY beat it. And to this day, close but no cigar. Its his second half of the battle that gets me.

Dont know if anyone has Hybrid Heaven, but I absolutely loved this game as a kid, and I remember beating it years ago. I will tackle this one if no one else has, wants to, or isnt already doing it. I will do my best to "track" ie stream all my gameplay on this since I will have to use Retroarch (sorry guys no CRT/N64).

So, I decided that I wanted to start a little personal challenge that I would clear through my backlog of games. I am including everything up to PS2, and PC. What I was thinking was that everyone who wanted to maybe join in and stream their progress online would be awesome. I wanted to take any "tips" I got from this, and donate it to Extra Life. The challenge is simple: Put together a list of games you want/need to beat/clear so that you can get them out of your backlog. Once you beat something, put the date you started, and then the date you completed. Maybe put a counter up, 01/??. This is just a friendly idea I had, and wanted to share it here and see if maybe we can get a Extra Life team started. So we actually got it at a local game store. If you can search under the old NA, the pictures of the item is there. The book is used, and I took pictures of the shell for the game. Let me see if I cant post them here too later. I cant find them on the old site sadly.

Ok guys, so it's two questions and I apologize in advance. I have an Earthbound game counselor guide and game ( the game/guide they used when you called the hotline). Wanted to see if anyone had any clue on value since it does have the game counselor sticker on the book, and a serial sticker on the back with a UPC code. I'm guessing it was to scan out the game/book. Also, I have a SMB CIB loose. Graded 4.5 overall, but I don't think its a special one. It was graded by WATA so I can provide the grader list. I need to itemize some of my collection, and they are asking me for approximate values to replace these. Thank you guys in advance.

Glad to see that the members of NA found their way here. Did a brief post when the rush of people flooded in, but figured I should actually introduce myself formally. Im Brandon, otherwise known to the NA community as 8BitHustler. Casual collector, been gaming since '88. First video game I owned was the CIB SMB that is now sitting in its WATA case (graded terribly low sadly). Gamer out in Gold Bar, WA. Make the joke to collegues Ive bene gaming longer than most have been alive. Hopefully I can be a little more active here, since I have been going through some ups and downs in RL. I cant say I'm well known from NA. But I was saddened by the events of what happened. I'm Brandon, most knew me as 8bithustler. I am happy to have found a new home among gamers and friends alike.
