  1. At AtariAge, whenever someone posts a link to a YouTube video, a little preview of the video shows up. I tried to post a YouTube video link and all I got was a clickable link. Does it not do that here?
  2. Boss stage finished. I don't know why since nobody downloaded the first ROM, but I'm including a demo version that you can play on emulator or Game Gear Everdrive if you're lucky enough to have one. hamburgers2demo.zip
  3. I've begun work on a sequel. You can download what I have so far. I attached it. Right now I am working on making a boss stage part. Right now the number of milkshakes you need to shoot to get to it is only 2. I will change this. It's 2 because I was busy testing the boss part and didn't want to go through a whole level every time just to get to it since I was having problems with it. Sometimes the burger died for no apparent reason, but I think I fixed it now.
  4. I don't know what you have, but it sure looks interesting. I'm surprised you haven't found a VCR to play it with. It's not exactly like they're antique. Perhaps you can go to a Goodwill and find a VCR? Or, if you want, you can mail it to me and I can use my VCR-to-DVD making machine and then mail the tape back with a DVD of what's on it. (I don't blame you if you don't want to do that, though.)
  5. I have two gems: First, Wheel of Fortune 2 for the game.com. It was a gift, and no, I'm never selling it, even if my game.com breaks. Second gem: Togepi's Great Adventure for the Pokemon Mini. I spent the required >$200 amount, and I'll only sell it if I get super desperate for money.
  6. A few more screenshots of what I've been up to for the past month or so. I want to have it done by September 2021 for the Pokemon Mini 20th anniversary, but I don't know if I can or not, judging on how slow on it I've been working. The biggest thing I have to worry about is lack of ideas. Found a new (apparently better) way to compile the game, so I work on it the old way and then convert what assembly code I have with a program that turns it into better Epson assembly code.
  7. In Super Mario Bros. 3, if you make Bowser fall in the hole he makes, Mario can still fall in the same hole and die. You restart the Bowser's Castle level like any other death in it.
  8. I have Mario Kart 8 for the Switch, and I just now figured out how to enable falling off the tracks and hitting things. Why was that disabled in the first place?
  9. My favorite game of all time is Mario Kart 64. Mario Kart DS is a close second. I still have my original copy of Mario Kart 64 and I play it once in a while still. Don't ask me why though. I guess it's because it was such a refreshing and varied terrain and radical departure from Super Mario Kart.
  10. It's a game where flying hamburgers shoot French fries at milkshakes. Each level there's something different. There are three types of milkshakes and two of them shoot onion rings.
  11. https://www.retrocircuits.com/product/hamburgers-en-route-to-switzerland-by-chris-read/ My game Hamburgers En Route To Switzerland for Game Gear is now on sale! I'm super excited, so buy a copy today.
  12. I was having trouble with the game but with help I finally got past it and I hope to finish it one day. I just finished level 3 and I'm about to begin work on level 4, the ocean. I bet you didn't know fruit flies can swim! I added about another 1,000 lines. Now it's past 9,000 lines! And I'm only about half-way done.
  13. I love pogs! I still have all mine. I have about 1,000 of them. I'm waiting for pogs to return.
  14. Thanks for all the kind words on the project. Since I am one of the lucky ones with a Pokemon Mini flashcart and there were a few things I didn't understand and were annoying me, I completely figured them out and now I think the program is just the way I want it now. Time to work on it some more and add new things. I doubt this will get done any time soon since I keep having trouble thinking up stuff. In this latest screen here, Frank is in an oasis in the desert. And those are supposed to be palm trees. Someone else designed the frog. I forget who. Thanks to whoever did! My plan is for the frog to jump and Frank needs to avoid touching the frog. In earlier stages, the frog had his tongue out, but the frog learned that since that isn't going to work, he might as well not do it. I don't know if this looks good, or should I reverse it and make the ground white and the water gray? Or just get rid of the water altogether. I've been working on this for a year and a half now, and the code is 7,999 lines long. And I'm only on level 3.
  15. Thanks. I program in assembly for the Pokemon Mini, although there is a C compiler available as well. And it's not EVERY platform, just a lot of them. I still don't know how to program an NES game, for example.
  16. Some people like to make homebrews for the NES. Some like the SNES. I'm different. I like to tackle stuff that only a few people have done. I've made a Channel F game. And I've been working on this game for the Pokemon Mini called Frank the Fruit Fly. There is a small homebrew scene for the small handheld that only a few people know about. So it's fitting that I try to make a homebrew game for it. To download the latest version, go to its website. Here are a few pictures of the game in action.
  17. I had heard that SegaAge might go the same way as NintendoAge, so I decided to join up here as well. But that's not to say I only do Sega stuff. I have every Nintendo console ever released, including Virtual Boy and Pokemon Mini. I also have a ton of other stuff as well, like Atari, Intellivision, and Channel F stuff. I also have a complete Odyssey 2 library. You may know me well on AtariAge as atari2600land. So I just thought I might as well join you guys.
