I don't think I've ever read this before. Is it from nostalgia or bc you actually enjoyed the game?
Well to be perfectly honest, I have played N64 maybe 10 times in the past 15 years or so. So a lot of my memories are from back in the late 90s and I loved CV. I beat it on every difficulty which is like 6 times. I even beat it start to finish one evening while my younger cousin watched. I just wanted to show him the music when you enter the Castle Wall, but got carried away and beat it. Epic night. I have never done that with any other game.
I am also a massive CV fan. It is by far my favorite franchise and has been since I seen Simons Quest when I was 5. So I am very bias.

Ranking CV games is like ranking your children! This would be extremely hard for me ha ha. Castlevania on N64 was/is my favorite game on the system! Plus, I got addicted to Castlevania Judgement on Wii a few months ago and loved it. So I think I'm too much of a fanboy to rank them.

Here is the info for Ironsword. I opened this one personally and have included the original picture right after the seal was cracked. This is the same photo I posted on NA way back when. ( check out my blog this Friday for the story on how I got this GEM, it might explain the condition ha ha)

Well if we are talking OBSCURE it would have to be these Nintendo Pepsi signs. I have had these for a while now. I traded 2 of the big signs away and 1 of the smaller boxes. I still have 1 spare big sign and a few smaller boxes stashed away.
Sign is 6’10-1/2” x 5’ 3” made of fluted polypropylene ALMOST 7 FEET TALL!!!! I was shocked at the massiveness of these lol
The Mario measures 14”
The Mario on Yoshi measures 16”
There are 2 different versions of the sign A and B with the Mario’s and Pepsi cans flipped
Both Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Canada are printed on the bottom
Dated 1992As you can see from the pictures, I had to get creative and mount these on the ceiling since they are so huge. I didn't have any wall space large enough for them. I think they are gorgeous with their beautiful bright popping colors.
Sign is 28” x 17”
These fold into a box
double sided with the same image on both sides
Both Nintendo of America and Nintendo of Canada are printed on the bottom
Dated 1995- 6

Hard to decide on an all time favorite CV game. So I will just say the "fresh in the mind" favorite, Order of Ecclesia for DS. I just loved the traveling around and the town Hub. Btw Awesome pickup on Rex, I still need that one!

In many hobbies/interests, there are places all around the world that hold a certain significance for one reason or another. Some examples come to mind like; music venues, sports arenas, museums, shopping locations, gravesites, just to name a few. I thought it would be an interesting idea to make a sharable map, assuming it has not been done before. I personally love to travel, so my mind often drifts to places I would love to go one day. It got me thinking that there must be numerous locations across the world that are significant and worth the effort to travel to that are video game related.
To help get the ball rolling we should consider the following
- Historical significance (Ex. Original Nintendo Headquarters)
- Shopping (Ex. Video Game Stores)
- Museums (Ex. The Strong National Museum of Play)
- Entertainment Venues (Ex. Funspot, the worlds largest Arcade)
- Other
When suggesting a location to add, please write why it is significant just to give context. Obviously, someone can Google places but are they really worth traveling to??? The forum input is pivotal to this Map. I have made a very small list to start with and the Map will always be a work in progress.

I believe that every collectors deep down desire is in fact, more shelf space! Ever since I started collecting my game room have always been evolving. Always trying to squeeze out a spot for a few more games.
Having a family that I share a house with, I have to be creative to say the least. The idea to redo my closet was inspired by the Stop Skeletons From Fighting podcast #59. Derek and Grace talked about removing closet doors from the closet because it’s a freeing experience. I got me thinking. So I got to work and I’d like to share the journey
To date I have cleaned it out, fixed the walls, sanded and washed them. Ready for paint!
More to come!
Before, the overflow is real…

Well from reading all the replies I think I am in the right spot ha ha. I think I need to get off Social Media in general. I don’t have any friends on Facebook or followers in Twitter, I just used them for nerd news and FB groups. So it’s not going to be a big deal.
All the replies inspired me to further my involvement here.

My apologies if this is something that has been covered in detail before.
I have been almost dormant in this forum since joining back in fall of 2019. I guess the downfall and blasphemous treatment of NintendoAge was just too much for me to bear. I just could not get into another forum so soon. Silly, I know but it is my reality. I am now making a larger effort to get back into the grove with this forum. I have an active blog here that has been keeping me coming back. However, Id like to change that and get that old NintendoAge feeling back within myself. Which leads me to my thoughts below.
Like many/most of us discovered, Facebook Groups have gained a lot of popularity in the past while. I have joined countless groups with the hopes of keeping my finger on the pulse of collecting. However, I am extremely guarded when posting to any group. I just don’t get a good vibe from anyone of the groups I am a part of. I have never opened up to any of them sharing collection pictures or my thoughts on anything. Especially with the way the market is now, a whole lot of bragging going on and not enough love of actual games for me.
I don’t know… maybe I am in the wrong groups or I have gotten older and jaded towards it all. I used to love sharing all of my video games pickups, updated collection photos and my thoughts in general on NA. The times I did try to share just lead to PM’s from guys trying to buy whatever I shared, like it was theirs for the taking. I guess I am just set in the old ways of being apart of a forum like this to share. Maybe there are just too many casuals, vultures and braggers on Facebook ha ha. I just find it odd that on NA or VGS when people would share something, I never saw it as bragging but more of enlightening the collector community or sharing knowledge. On FB there is just so much striving for acclamation but thats social media in a nutshell.
Maybe NA and VGS are the exact same as FB, just in forum form and I don’t see it ha ha, Once an elitist cornball cocksucker, always an elitist cornball cocksucker….
I am not trying to run any one group down; I know many members here are creators and mods of VG FB Groups. I am sure many of you love them and that’s great but I find myself just being a lurker in them.
What are everyone’s thoughts on Facebook Video Game groups currently?

I didn't know about journey to Sirius until somewhat recently, but its such a fantastic game with a wonderful soundtrack. Haven't beaten it, but maybe I will try again soon. Solid set!
Ya, I never heard of it growing up but discovered it through Happy Video Game Nerd like 11-12 years ago lol. It quickly shot up to the top of my list for favorite games of all time. I agree with the wonderful soundtrack, I love it. Ya if a tougher one to beat for sure but I managed to 1 times. I really need to do it again.

Nothing, I’m just trying to insert some reason. Everyone makes mistakes, expecting them to never make a mistake like this is ridiculous. Claiming it’s because they “are too busy having articles written about them” even moreso. I said the issue here is communication, essentially exact same thing you said in your post. You’re still mad for some reason. Ok.
I am sorry you feel that I am mad. I am just trying to make sense of your constant defending of WATA, because you always come off extremely defensive, that's all.

Goals and reality often do not align. Everyone can strive to be perfect, but in the end, nobody will be. The communication issue, as I stated, is a continuous issue that is well past the point of being excused. But the mixing up of tops on the same game from the same submission, stuff like that is just going to happen when you’re dealing with tens of thousands of submissions.
And the “headlines” bit is a cute line, but I have a feeling they spend way more time in the shop doing labor than talking with reporters for a story every couple months. But maybe you’ve done the math.
So much do you have invested in WATA? smh
