With out a doubt, Castlevania is my favorite franchise. I fell in love with it the first time I laid eyes on the box art for Castlevania II Simons Quest at my cousins house in the early 90s. I just could not believe there was a video game where the end boss was Dracula. That blew my mind as a 5 year old kid. I have adored the series ever since. I am a fanboy, I admit it. Love the Castlevania's on N64 and Judgment on Wii... so ya...

I honestly don’t know of anywhere that does the full package anymore. I think it was only one site that did them and they shut down a long time ago. For just carts, I use to make them back in the day on NA, if your ever see a little atomic explosion logo in the corner of a label, that was one of mine. Most of these games have been taken over by the Chinese bootleg market. They just straight up produce them cheaper. An average repro made by hand back when I did it would cost someone $30. Now you can get them on aliexpress for as little as 5$-$10 I think.
The one place I do know that still exists is
https://www.gamereproductions.com/
but Ive seen so much back and forth over the years with people having problems getting their orders that it doesn’t seem worth trying to deal with them
Thanks for the info! Yeah I recall back then it was a lot easier to find these. The only site I could find was,
https://www.ocdreproductions.com/

I asked a similar question last week but didn't quite get the answers I was looking for so I figured I'd post again but being more clear.
Years ago back in the NintendoAge days I felt like there was a number of people or online shops that made really nice reproductions/hacks products including carts, boxes and manuals.
Would be great to get some recommendations for these types of products nowadays. I am def out of touch. Ironically Battle Kid got me into the retro scene back in 2010. I was really into this stuff but lost interest after a bit.
As an example here are some carts I had made, way back when..

As the title says, where is the preferred place to purchase homebrews, repros, translations, hacks etc.
I have not bought these types of content for many years. Was curious if there was a preferred site or vendor.
I was referred to a Facebook Group "Retro Gamer Store" for some Dreamcast items this morning and I made some purchases.
I am primarily looking for Castlevania stuff ATM.

Man, I love the Dreamcast and this would've been a cool release. Of course the lack of a second analog stick would've made the camera a nightmare, but it comes with the territory.
I remember getting a Dreamcast just for this game. Oh how I was crushed when it got cancelled. I was a MASSIVE fan of the N64 Castlevania's so I was really looking forward to this game.
This is one of the actual ads for it that had me so F'n hyped!!! (took me forever to find this ad in my magazine collection to get a pic ha ha, I knew I had it)

Bump, still looking for any Castlevania items

I was curious if anyone knew of any physical release for Castlevania Resurrection for Dreamcast.
I am well aware that I could make my own but I was hoping there was a nice release made by a reputable company/person that I could purchase.
Thanks

How did you manage to track that down, not going to ask price, I'm sure it was worth every penny seeing that clearly.
It was not hard at all to track them down ha ha. A reputable company bought out the art from the studio itself and has been selling them. As far as I can tell just season 1 so far.

This is very true lol. Jan-June is hell at work. So once that blows over I plan to tackle this list during the summer.

I just wanted to throw out an ad for any and all Castlevania items from all regions including; video games, posters, guides, action figures etc. Be warned I do have a large collection already so I might not be open to everything. I am always looking to upgrade condition on items, so feel free to pm me what you have and we can go from there. I live in Canada so please keep that in mind.

When I moved in 2013, I bought all these green totes on a summer sale for $3 CAN each at Home Depot.
- I made sure to put all the lesser valued items on the bottom and the higher value items on top. I also made sure I didn't fill them too much since I would be stacking them and didn't want anything getting crushed, so there was a buffer zone.
-I took good pictures of what I was putting in and numbered the totes themselves, I did this to make unpacking a lot easier. I knew where everything was by doing this. I did not unpack right away so it was very helpful.
This system work perfect. I have zero issues and zero damage to anything.

Wow, really nicely done! The finished product looks fantastic. What a transformation!
Thanks man! It really was a labor of love. It is taking a bit to get used to. It is kind of bizarre, have the space opened up like it is now. I am loving it. Now I gotta clean up the rest of the basement, the arcade area needs a major revamp now!

I started this project Jan 3rd and I am 95% complete as of yesterday Jan 30th. I will be adjusting and tweaking forever in here but overall it is complete. For example the lights still need to be properly hung but I might change the orientation of them but time will tell if I like them the way they are.
I am very happy with the final design and functionality of it. It opens up my game room an extra 2 1/2 feet! No more claustrophobic Sega corner!

Which games are made better or worse by 100% completion?

I would have to say the non linear Castlevania games ( refuse to use the term Metriodvania) Very satisfying uncovering 100% of the Castle.
