I like my coffee like I like my women. Cold and black. Seriously.
i mostly drink water. Ice is preferred. Big fan of iced tea. Unsweetened, no lemon.
Also, bubble water is friggin gross. Monsters.

Suikoden 6. Pretty sure that’s never happening though. Damn shame.

Fuckin' right it is.
That is cool as hell.
There’s a pretty strong argument to be made for it being the #1. That top spot is pretty hard to claim though. Symphony of the Night was pretty damn perfect.

Couldnt you start a club? I assumed that was the appropriate venue for discussing specific topics not covered by the general headers.

People often ask what sort of PlayStation things I'm talking about when I say I collect random and obscure items, mostly from Japan, so here is just one example of one of the sort of 'subsets' that I've been collecting over the years. I present to you a mini collection of Japanese PlayStation 2 Modem and Network-type Accessory / Hardware + Software releases. There are others, but these are most of the popular ones. Eventually, I think I'll make a blog or something to highlight some of the strange and interesting things I have, but in the meantime, checkout the pic! Maybe there is one other person out there in North America who actually cares about this stuff like I do!
Japanese stuff for any system has always seemed like an impenetrable wall to me. There’s just so much of it and I don’t have the first clue what anything on any of the boxes says.

Holy crap. Just realized it was a tape when I saw it in the restoration thread. I’ve been wondering what the U stands for. What happened to the dude with the cool wizard picture?
-
Huh. So they made it RE7. I don’t really know how I feel about that.

Is the remake significantly different? I just assumed it was shinier.

I‘ve made this guide to what exists for those who want to collect Lightspan Adventures stuff. The complete list of discs is pulled from Dangerboy’s work over at www.game-rave.com. I encourage anyone that’s unfamiliar to stop over there.
The teacher’s guide seem to line up 1:1 with most of their later series. Except for titles marked with an asterisk I’ve included only titles I can confirm as existing either through directly seeing them online, owning them, or strong implication (confirmed sightings of preceding and following books). Books with an asterisk I do not have as strong of evidence for but are more than likely out there. Anything not included I have no evidence with which to say they exist. I’d appreciate if anyone could contribute information to completing this list.

Suikoden II is easily my favorite RPG. I actually love the whole series. IV fell pretty flat and the tactics title was kind of weird but other than that. Also I firmly believe that Suikoden III is completely underrated. Whatever it’s flaws, I think that it is just absolutely an enjoyable experience to play through every time.
I think that Final Fantasy VII is the best numbered Final Fantasy period. Suck it VI. VII doesn’t get the love it deserves and IX gets too much. Also Final Fantasy XV was absolute ass in hell.
The original Dragon Quest is my favorite but that’s probably nostalgia talking. VIII is probably the best iteration I’ve played. I enjoyed XI pretty thoroughly as well. It was everything I hoped it would be.
