So my thing has always been drunk posting so now seems like a good time. Pardon me if I’m out of order.
I hate what those douchebags did to NA and what they hope to get out of the hobby in general. for 99% of us their actions are mostly irrelevant. Want to jack up the price on a sealed Golf? Go right the fuck ahead. It doesn’t affect me. There’s been a lot of talk about these “shady” actors this year and certain folks with vested interests in seeing those prices rise defend them as absurd as their arguments may seem. Who can blame them? It still doesn’t affect 99% of us.
Back on point, yes GoCollect demolished the NA website and they clearly have no intention of fixing it. Fuck them. I feel for the people that put a bunch of time into certain threads but you don’t have back ups if your work? That seems kind of like your own fault then.
With a few notable exceptions everyone is here. The fine folks running this site have created a beautiful new home for us with all of the modern touches. GoCollect didn’t actually kill anything.
Lastly, Mr Phins, while I appreciate your anger and your community college level political rantings, you are definitely not coming off as anything but a jackass here.

Why is it that when people list Lightspan stuff they just post a picture of the box and then one with the lid open where you can’t see any of the titles? Would you do that with any other game lot? ...why yes I do think I’ll spend 30+ dollars on a box that I have no idea about the contents. Ugh.

Gotta be SMB3. I’ve played it more times than I can count. Although it’s hard to discount the original SMB. It’s so simple and perfect for what it is. Everything about it is unforgettable. I also get a little bit of a chubby for the color scheme in world 3.
edit: oh yeah I almost forgot, super Mario 64 sucks.

SMB3. There really is no need for battery save. Perfect controls, perfect level design. Improved on previous iterations in every way and set the standard for everything that came after.
i can see the argument for Tetris as well.

The princess‘ floating definitely makes the platforming easier. Love this game. I always loved riding the ostriches. It’s been a while since I’ve played it.

It would have been Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt that came with the NES. Other early games would have been Pinball and Ice Climber. If I remember correctly and I can’t be sure that I do, Legend of Zelda would’ve been one of my first as well.

I went down the middle. 5/10. It’s ok. I’m not sure I understand the strong reactions to it. It’s pretty unremarkable. They basically are Godsmack.

Yes please. I think you’ll have a hard time finding someone here that’ll argue against more lists.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Red Arremer from Ghosts n Goblins unless I missed it.
The ones I really hate are the flying hot dogs. That friggin noise makes it worse.

Please tell me that isn't real. I hope it is indeed a bunch of Photoshopped bull! Didn't they have a Captain Planet episode about this or something?
Pretty sure it’s real. Cow‘s on trenbolone.

I live about an hour away from Cedar Point so I used to go every year. Love that place. It’s been some years since I’ve gone but the last couple times I was there people really stopped caring about the Magnum so it’s really become one of those rides you can just go on over and over.

Comix Zone. I remember it being awesome and I played a lot of it but playing it now? The enemies take way too many hits to kill and there is too much cheap damage. Or maybe I’m just not as good at it as I remember.

Damn dude. Looks like you could beat a man to death with that shelf. Must be heavy as crap.

Dragon Warrior. I could totally get into living in Alefgard. I want to spend my days whacking slimes with a stick for beer money and arguing with old women about whether or not they have any tomatoes.

It seems like it should be toys to me. Not really based on anything and I don’t know a lot about what they do. We’ve both got loose and complete items. I’m assuming sealed items are roughly analogous. That’s it.

Cool to see someone taking some initiative on these sort of things. Awhile back I debated working on the PS1 rarity list over on PSA but it would basically be starting from scratch and I’m not so bold as to assume my thoughts on these things are correct.

@Hammerfestus hahaha, yes the one I currently have loves to be obnoxious in the early morning too. With double trouble, I shudder to imagine lol.
I was cursing them the other night. Fed them before I went to bed and fast forward to 2am there’s pounding on the bedroom door because they ate all the food and want more.

We’ve got a 12-13 year old cat that the girl took in from stray many years ago when he was just a kitten and also a 5-6 year old we took in a few years ago when the in-laws moved to Florida.
They are totally different personalities with the newer cat being significantly more aggressive but it’s all worked out fine. She gets yelled at sometimes for picking on him and there are cat fights from time to time but overall they really have a happy coexistence. They team up regularly to be obnoxious in unison (usually at 5am).

Do you happen to know a fellow by the name of I am Unban?

Pretty sure they used it in merrie melodies/loony toons era. What BA said also sounds right.

Was messing with the app on PS4 yesterday and was surprised how unfinished it was. Someone dropped the ball. Half the categories and descriptions just read “placeholder”

What you talking about, PlayStation sucks balls! Would've been better for Sony to release this SNES CD and then watch it fail and go, "Ah well, videogames ain't for us I suppose"...
Every day for the past 25 years I have dreamed of a blissful PlayStation-free existence, every morning I wake up with the wretched pang of cold dread when I remember that world will never be.

Have you ever played the N64?

Let's talk about CD game jewel cases
in General Collecting Discussion

More or less assume that any clean cases you find online have been swapped out lol. Yeah browsing through some used cds is probably the cheapest way to replace them. I’ve had to Frankenstein some of those double cases with the PlayStation logo in the one section though. Just hope that panel isn’t cracked. Those long box cases are a son of a bitch though. They make the standard jewel cases look like tanks by comparison. Broken hinges, broken front, cracked spine, busted cd holder teeth, it’s enough to drive a guy nuts. If you’ve got something pricey with a cracked case the best you can really hope for is to find a cheap copy of Gameday or something.
