  1. Situation: Youre stranded in a log cabin far from anyone with no lines of communication available.  You have electricity, a tv, and a video game console,  and the choice of one of two video games to pass the weekend before Monday hits and you can go back to civilization.  Which of the following two games do you choose to spend your next two days playing?

In what circles is Cary Elwes known for Days of Thunder rather than Princess Bride (or even Robinhood Men in Tights :P)

Though for the younger crowd, they might know him as the creepy step dad in Liar Liar.

In my circles hes knows for Days of Thunder and Twister.  Jesus, that makes me sound like white trash...

  3. Heres a few that come to mind easily...

Johnny Lee Miller should have come out of Hackers being a bigger star than Angelina Jolie.

Bronson Pinchot should have been huge, but after Risky Business there was a couple of sitcoms and his small roles in the Beverly Hills Cop trilogy.  BTW I love the Bronson Pinchot Project!

Cary Elwes is a great actor mostly known for his role as Russ Wheeler in Days of Thunder.

Sam Neill from Jurassic Park fame should have had more love.

John Goodman can do it all and should be ranked much higher.

Burton's Batman movies might be dark, but they were still comedies. And to be honest? I don't think he was great as Batman. Though the bigger issue was probably the suit being unable to turn its head, which ended up looking quite goofy.

I never realized that he couldnt turn his head properly.  Thats funny!  Keaton was the best Batman tho, followed by Val Kilmer.  The new Batmans are trash.  I cant stand Batman trying to make his voice as deep as possible when he talks.

It's not too late for him, because he's been doing a bit of a comeback recently, but man Michael Keaton has been amazing in some of his later roles, with Birdman and The Trial of The Chicago 7 being obvious examples. Much better than back when he was actually a popular actor, doing Batman, Beetlejuice and such.

I was too young at the time so I have been educated by YT videos, but people were flipping out about Keaton playing Batman in 1989 cuz he was the funny guy from Beetlejuice and Mr Mom and they didnt think he could be Batman in a dark version of it.  Boy were they wrong...

This is a good perspective.  As I mentioned above, the family got a 2600 around 1986, but the first system I got that was my own was a Game Boy, and I remember getting a couple games with it.  My first, personal games were then Tetris, World Cup Soccer and Alleyway.

Now, the first games that were 100% mine that I bought with my own money were likely Game Gear games, after I saved up ages to get it.  I couldn't wait to get that system so I barely had enough to buy one without a pack in game, so my brother bought me Sonic 2.  That doesn't count.  I think the first game I bought with my own cash when it came around was either Jurassic Park or Star Wars.  I have fond memories of both.

I remember when I got my first Game Gear.  I was a lil late to the party cuz it was 1995, but I got NHL All Star Hockey.  I LOVED that game!
