We should have some sort of notification that a new club has formed under the clubs menu. I think it would get more users interested in joining different clubs, and in turn cause more contribution to topics overall on the site.

I have a love hate relationship with sports these days. I played everything up until high school, then I played football, basketball, and ran track in high school, and played football until I was 23. I can actually say that I received a small paycheck for playing football once before I was cut from a minor league arena team. I stayed away from participating in any sports until I coached football at the feeder level from like 2020-2022 which I did for 3 seasons. I proved to myself that I could do it, and had some fun, but adding that into my schedule which is taken up by two businesses, young kids, and other life stuff was extremely tiring and Im glad that Im done with it even though I talk to a few of my players regularly still as a coach because they ask me for advice from time to time. I tend to get super excited when NFL preseason starts, then I start watching games every time theyre on, and lose interested before halftime and move on to something else. As far as sports gaming, sports games are my rpgs. Im very passionate about playing franchise mode on Madden, 2k, and The Show, and soon to be NCAA Football again every season, and I play them all year long.

Id say if I really wanted to do it the right way, Id go with a Neo Geo cab and pic up your favorite carts and swap them in and out as needed.

I have an opinion on this, even though Ive never heard the question come up before as I just thought it was normal to have them be yellow. I can remember back to about 1st grade art class, when we would have to draw our family on a white piece of paper. I couldnt make my skin white because the white crayon didnt show up on the white background, and some people would use the peach crayon, if they were caucasian of course, and that always left me with yellow as the best option. On another note, my drawn people would always have 3 fingers as it was way to hard to draw a good hand small enough to look legit with a crayon.

I believed it for a second, and I thought, an educated collector would go with whatever brings the most value, which is most of the time video games.

I used to love booting up the original Tekken around 1996 and getting to play the first level of Galaga before the start menu came up.

We definitely need to be welcoming to new collectors for the site/hobby to grow. With that said, everyone has to kinda prove themselves to not be a scammer or a dumb ass youtuber advertising their videos. Its hard to fit in anywhere these days, so we need different kinds of personalities for noobs to latch onto. Maybe we should somehow advertise, or point new ppl in the direction of the clubs directory so they can see if theres a specific part of the hobby that they are really passionate about and maybe they will stay around longer.

I watched the Simpsons pretty religiously until about 1998, and since then I have seen like 3 or 4 episodes, even tho when the Simpsons Movie came out, I was super stoked to see it, and thought it was really good, but I lost my way, and probably dont have the time to sit and watch all of the episodes I missed because there are so many! The Simpsons was known for being edgy, and not for children when I was young, but I never saw it that way. As usual, people were way to bitchy.

Ren & Stimpy was a show that I didnt give a chance because the small bits that I saw as a child didnt entertain me because I was always comparing it to Beavis and Butthead which was always # 1 for me back then, after TMNT of course. I hope to one day give it another shot as it was extremely popular and see what all of the fuss was about.
