  1. Heres a thing that shouldnt exist. This is a piece of published envelope art from volume 102 of nintendo power.

Originally sent to the magazine from a military base in Korea. The small script are all nintendo published video games. The amount of time this must have taken is staggering.

I know Majesco cut every corner they could but I swear if I bought a title back in the day, opened it up, and found a game that looked like that, I would have taken it back on principle.

I can't believe they were able to sell crap like this.  It should be a major tip off to how cheaply they were made and I'm surprised people didn't assume they were bootlegs.

They wernt selling crap like this... sorta.

So basically these labels were put on games that were considered dead stock. Essentially when they decided they weren't going to produce any more retail copies, they put these labels on the remaining carts, put them in baggies, and sold them in bulk to distributors.

  3. It drives me bonkers that the label on the cart and the background header are both the same value of black. It makes the cartridge read like a horse shoe instead of an NES cart. You should change the color, even slightly, of one or the other.

This has been brought to you by super trivial things that really annoy Archon.

Something like that, should be shared. Its a one off item like a mona lisa would be. Something irreplaceable, again imo. Is there a way to make a foto of the item with removing the names or blacken them out. I would be interested in the whole layout instead of a side view. But there is no pressure in doing anything i have mentioned. But this is truely a beautiful item that is one of a kind

This is me blacking out the names and sharing it...

I'm not sure what the difference is between what you're asking for and what I'm doing...

  5. This one I dont show publically often because I dont show full names as a matter of personal policy.

This is a going away poster board created and signed by the employees whole department. This employee was with Nintendo for 18 years.

This piece is a total one-off. Mario was printed and cut out by hand, and each letter was hand placed. It's a full-size poster board, approximately 20x30

This thing is clearly full of signatures, so it hangs in my bedroom, where I never film, rather than in my game room.

Sorry about the censoring. Thank you for understanding!

I'm glad there is someone out there collecting and saving these pieces of history. The oddball shit you come up with is the coolest stuff around, much better than all those graded and sealed sealed games 😃

Thanks for sharing this stuff in many places. It's much appreciated.

Aw thanks man. I always like being appreciated. Finding this stuff take a looooooooooooot of time and a not zero amount of money, so I'm happy that people are enjoying it.

  7. Here we have an UNPUBLISHED script for the Lone Ranger comic. This strip was the last Howard and Nester before Howard Phillips left the company. However; when this first draft was written, the writer didn't KNOW Howard was leaving. So this draft doesnt mention it at all!
