Another great transaction. Fast and safe shipping, exactly as described.

Very excited. Well, not for ExciteBike. But very excited!

I think mine is fairly self-explanatory, given my handle, though it did change from what was on the old forum. Previous one in case folks just don't remember:

Mine is a pic of me at my bar mitzvah. Good times.
Most of knew {of} you long before joining NA or VGS. Legendary photo.

One of the windows on an original 2600 box.
Despite owning said box, I simply refuse to believe that. That is exactly how you look when playing Kaboom! with me... which is funny because you're holding the wrong controller.

I don't understand the vitriolic hatred for them you find online. That being said I don't enjoy thier music. It's just your run of the mill, crappy pop rock.
I can guarantee you that the guys in Nickelback do not give a shit about any of the online hate, at all. They are laughing all the way to the bank. They found a successful formula. Maybe in their early days they were true to some music scene or idea, but even at the time of the debut on Roadrunner Records, that formula was all but locked in.
There's a ton of hate online. But guess what? Somebody is buying these records. Millions of them. But few fess up.

Looks so sloppy and thrown together, but I'm lovin' it!

My wife is ready to put up the Christmas stuff, and she's not even US-born (Chinese).
Normally I put my foot down until at least the day after thanksgiving. But FFS, at least let the halloween pumpkins begin to rot first...

Well, that's a big bag of weiners. I've gotten a couple of good deals off of Amazon before.
Same here. Often it’s risky if you’re sticklers for condition but I’ve gotten pretty lucky

...of course you can't log in, probably because it can't hit the backend as it expects to.

This had me curious. Someone that goes to nintendoage.com and gets redirected to gocollect should try this:
http://74.86.217.179/forum/latestposts.cfm
I can get there just fine. That's the old DNS record.

Must have hit different parts of the country at different times.
Nope. It was down for me then came back up. I replied to Tyler's test thread just fine. Still kicking.

Lol, I guess I will go down in history as having the last post on NA cause I am now indeed getting 503 Service errors. What prize do I get, haha
Try again, I just replied to your thread

This is what the Greg Martin thread directs to on my browser
EDIT: nevermind. I'm getting 503's now both visiting nintendoage.com and 74.86.217.179.

That's bizarre. I was shocked that I got in on the first try. It has my previous topics available and listed as well.

I see this under their announcements. It's already wrong as my login info DOES NOT work. It's really sad to see it go after visiting it daily for 8 years it's going to feel weird not being able to see the familiar setup anymore
My login works, though things like inbox are broken on the new site.
Did you change your credentials within the last few days? If so, try the old ones.

I left work and switched to my tablet. Might be a cache thing. I can't see the old forum at all.
TTLs, caching, propagation between the roots... time will tell. Enjoy it while you can, if you can, folks.

I'm still getting the same exact "Page Not Found"....are you guys using Firefox?
Google Chrome, like the rest of the world
EDIT: and I'm not being smug, see here:

No dude. That's literally the URL that comes up in my firefox browser if I click on the very first Google link when I search "Nintendoage Greg Martin R.I.P Bronty"
oh, wow. sorry for doubting you, I'm just not seeing that. Google is notorious for customizing results, so who knows what kind of black magic is preventing me from seeing it. When I do the identical search, I get the link to the OG NA thread, and clicking through takes me to the old site as expected.

For instance, this is what Bronty's tribute/obituary to artist Greg Martin (Sonic The Hedgehog, etc) now looks like
https://connect.gocollect.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=5&threadid=117907Did you manually construct that URL? I didn't think anybody expected a 1:1 direct mapping with the new domain name and same thread ids.

I was going to try to archive a few more of my threads (already saved the three I wanted most though) and was redirected to the link I provided. If I try to look up the particular threads on Google the links now come up as 'This Page Does Not Exist'
I'm not seeing that at all. Either through direct navigation or using Google I get to the pages. It's otherwise up and allowing new content on the old site.
Sellers remorse? What's your biggest regret?
