Was it the nintendo agw of Aquarius thread? I gave out a lot of prizes in that thread. It was fun. One of my favorite underrated threads. A NA gen 3 classic.
indeed it was

I figured most of those folks, at least now, would be torturing each other with Kaizo shell jump levels in Super Mario Maker 2. I've seen some hellish levels.
I used to play Brutal Mario a lot, as well as Return to Dinosaur land, but I don't even know the ones you listed by name.

Glad to see this happening. I don't have much in the way of variants but I'll give your list a close inspection and contribute if I can!

I'm sure nobody here knows me from nintendoage because i didn't post a lot but I'm babywuchki. I dont collect much anymore really but i still love vintage games and gaming and play mostly on hacked classic systems now like the NES mini. Nice new site. Congrats and keep up the good work. Onward and upward.
I still have an N64 around somewhere that you gifted me (or I won from you?) in like 2015 Glad to see you here.

I just generally wax nostalgic, picking up random things in thrift stores... and am all over the place. I try to keep the hoarding in check though. Previously collected beater (cheap) guitars and records, though those collections have stagnated.

Once you go memory foam, you won’t go back.
I disagree. Bought a top-of-the-line Tempur-Pedic and thought I was a god.
...for the first week.
Then came the terrible back problems.
We got rid of that {finally} and are currently on a firm Stearns and Foster. Night and day difference. I felt antiquated paying more than $2k for a spring mattress but it was worth every penny.

Like many, NA was my online home (in my case for the last 8 years)
I'm torn. Watching the slow decline has been painful in many ways. However, the pending work on 10/31 has me at a crossroads. Do I hope it survives the migration in some form, such that we have a bit more time to wander about, or do I secretly hope it just fails to come back up?
As awful as it may sound, I'd prefer the later. Like a bandaid, remove it quickly. I'd rather not have to watch it degrade further and further... because to the point of this thread: yes, I will continue to visit so long as I am able.

That's almost unbelievable in 2019. Hearty congrats!

Yup what barrels said.
I am now known as "NintendoAge Moderator" on NA, hah. It still works.

Congrats to barrels on taking 4th this year.
Thank you. I certainly don't deserve it but I'll take it.

How did you do it and can it still be done? Edit. Congratulations on the shooter championship..
I can't speak for any black magic that happened, but from my perspective, either having "Moderator" or "NintendoAge Moderator" in the user name was enough to have a banner appear. No actual abilities came with it, it was superficial but hilarious.
Given that the old site is effectively frozen, and all the mods did was revert his username and delete his thread, I'd guess that it could be done again...

Nice area for sure. I lived in College Park for nearly 8 years and always found reasons to head up there.

We do need Location settings for sure.

It was amazing all right.
Glad to see you all here, and hopefully the speed at which y’all came is a good sign about the participation to come!
