Way Cool...... and damn i was beat by one cart. after years of chasing.
did you forgot the 108 no sticker and the 601 wrong side?
and by the way ill take the HK 601 and 605 needed for my set.
by chance have you opened the game to check the Board? needing a validation on the SS and the MANI boards...
What cart do you have left? I likely will pick up a no sticker 108 eventually if the price is right and upgrade a few carts. No error cart pursuits on my list for now
I'm not opposed to doing a trade on the 601 / 605 if you want to bring me regular replacements and a little cash topping
Are you looking for board verification on Solar Striker and all 601 - 605 ...?

9/1/2020 shall down in infamy as "The Game Boy Day" on VGS. Congrats and that's an amazing accomplishment.
Also, if you're ever done with it, PM me. I'd like first refusal.
Thank you! Certainly, I always know I should hit you up first with any bad decisions I may think about making

Well after years of pursuing, hounding eBay, hounding people, hounding just the internet in general, and also a well deserved shoutout to @dyer for helping me get the last one on my list. I have finally completed the CHN GB set as a loose cart set. Sure, I need some upgrades but for now... this will do. Enjoy! It was a mofo to complete....
Itemized list for anyone looking to do this set. It was brutal. I started just about a decade ago and just finished myself. Threw in a copy of the HKG region Tetris for kicks....

Yeah first time I’ve seen supplemental newsletters, there were 2 in the binder along with a few other newsletters from 94/95.
Were the others Network News issues?

Great to see a find like this! That Donkey Kong box is pretty awesome! Best part of the bunch!
Congrats on the score!

Awesome pieces Justin! Glad you were able to track that final one down.... pretty interesting to see that 'supplement' to the Network News newsletters as well. Thank you for sharing. This is definitely quite the feat!

Glad to see this thread getting some appropriate love! Guides and paper are IMO such a great alternative to game collecting. Who doesn't love to thumb through picture books of your favorite game.... right? haha
I recently was able to add a shelving unit and bring all the children together to one displayed home finally. Have a few more file organizers coming to help keep the uniformity throughout as my OCDness gets a little whacky. Everything I've got is separated by either platform or publisher as follows:
NES / GAMEBOY WATA GRADED SNES / SANDWICH ISLANDS ZELDA GAME COUNSELOR / MEDIA KITS / INTERNAL NOA SNES GAMEFAN / VERSUS / DIMENSION / Q64 NEWSLETTERS / GB / PRESS KITS SEGA / N64 / NINTENDO PLAYERS GUIDES GAME PLAYERS / NINTENDO POWER NINTENDO POWER NINTENDO POWER NES / CYOA BOOKS SUPPLEMENTALS / WORKING DESIGNS / VIDIOT BOY / TURBO IMPORTS / PC Enjoy! It's been a very long time in the making.

I've started to collect a couple of them,.. I find they help my motivation a lot with these really long RPG's .. so that I don't get stuck and then just give up
Speaking of... Does anyone know if they ever made a strategy guide for the original Suikoden for the PS1? All I seem to see on ebay are the games after the first....
There is a guide for Suikoden on PS1 ... typically sells for around $70. One up right now for $100/obo:

Thanks for the tag @drxandy!
This variant of the Majora's Mask guide was made for the retailer "The Game Zone" and I'm guessing it is the Arizona store as the Dr has pointed out. Would love to hear if you get confirmation on that!
There are a total of (6) cover variants on this guide:
- Generic blank cover - no offers
- Hollywood Video - $9.99 with blue background
- EB Games Exclusive Cover
- Game Zone exclusive cover
- Toys R Us - Item Cards included cover
- Funcoland / Babbages / Software Etc - stickers included
I have a three of the six, so halfway through them. They all come up somewhat regularly at a decent deal, but the Game Zone cover probably is close to the top (if not top) on rarity for this book. I haven't been searching it much lately but they come up every few months maybe. Still a great piece though @timfsu2k! Thanks for sharing!
Here are the three I have currently:

Here are two more for the list @NintendoTwizer:
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 with Bradygames Mini Guide
Robotech Battlecry with 12 page Prima Hint Book Inside

This was the exact feeling I had while pursuing the CHN Gameboy subset. It is really just a matter of time, patience and a little bit of luck....
I'd also say this really applies to people that are after truly rare paper items as well. You can have all the money in the world, but until one comes up for sale (if ever).... you will just be waiting until the end of time.

Yeah, it is a pretty even blend of sticker and no sticker .... there is no solid confirmation of why, but my best guess is that anyone outside of China probably didn't see or understand the game title so they put a sticker on it ... ? maybe ?
